Hey boyz, just shouting a howdy from Camrose in central Alberta, where the gym is so full of fat middle aged women you are required to check your balls in with the coat lady. I’m a Pre-Med student at Augustana University and I’ve been lurking around Australia for the past 6 months. I just got back so I haven’t seen much of this forum, and needless to say, DAMN IT IS GOOD TO BE A CANADIAN T-MAN!!!
I guess I’m the only guy in Saskatchewan who knows how to use a computer…
I’m living in Regina, SK, training at the Regina Court and Fitness Club (I know it sounds lame, but it’s the only place in town with an olympic lifting platform, and actually has a damn good selection of free weights). Working at GNC downtown, and I write the entrance exam for the Regina Police Service on the 30th. Later, Canuckleheads!
Darko, I don’t have any knowledge of X-comp training. Is that from T-Mag? Any way, I was doing 5X5 and thought that 8X3 was the next logical step. I’m trying to decide whether to move from 8X3 to 1-6 or GVT.
As far as progress goes, I’m finding strength increasees fairly signifigant week to week. After hitting every rep 8X3 in the second week, I’m ready to bump up the weight. Size in my chest has increased noticably (to me) and I’m maintaining my arms with the low volume. Legs are getting better doing mostly deads. I only do 1 exercise per body part, so variety is not an upside of this protocol. Still, I’m happy with the results.
Sorry bro, the management just hired two part time guys about a month ago. It’s great because when I was hired there was only me and my buddy Paul who worked here, the rest of the staff was women. My bosses are hotties though so it’s cool. Anyway, now there’s 4 guys and 3 girls. T-Mag runs rampant through the fitness centre.
I thought you might have been doing the x-comp program, as it was described in the article it is a GVT for strength athelets. I am impressed with it so far. It was back in issue #96, i think, How did you find the 5*5, I am considering doing that after this program.

BeaR, you can’t find Androsol or Nandrosol because the prohormones are illegal for sale in Canada. You can order from the US, but if your shipment is to big they could assume it’s not for your own personal use and seize it. That’s the story I’ve read from the forum, I’ve never personalyl experienced that. Quick question if anyone can read this: Next diet phase, going to use MD6 or T2, which should I use? I’ve never used thermogenics before. Also, I’m a cheap student, so I’d prefer to use T2. Anyone wanna help me out on this one?
Hi ya’ all! My first time posting in this forum. I can see that all of you are really into hardcore training just as much as I do. I hope I can learn from you all.
Ps. BigRob, Dan’s having a get-together at his house soon. Give him or myself a call.
Hey eh! I’m from Calgary Ab but I grew up outside of Drumheller in a small town called Delia. I work out at Fitness plus. Hey BJ and John T - small world eh!-know any Reed’s?
Hey man,
5X5 is cool. I put on about 10 lbs at least the first time I tried it. This was the second time and I think that depending on your goals, it fits in well after 8X3. I wanted to increase my strength. Therefore I keep increasing the intensity and decraesing the volume. The only problem I’m finding is that my overall work capacity is going down. So if you want to increase you capacity, I think 8X3 followed by 5X5 is good.
I was wondering when you were gonna log your butt on here. I’ll call Dan about the party. Should be stopping by the store soon too. Less than two weeks to go. Are you ready?
Big Rob! Yeah, man, I’m ready for the new semester! Actually, Dan was hoping to get some review done together. Hehehe…we gotta kick some butts at the next GBC show…gotta show the first year students what we are made of. I’ll see you at my store soon.
Review? Why not. As far as the show goes, I’m leaning towards not doing it. We’ll talk more later. Maybe I’ll Emcee for ya.

Hey, I think I do know who you are. Since last we talked I figured that I’d better start checking out the T-forum, especially since my websites been up here a few times. I’ll be talking to you again soon!
