OH CANADA, Canadian Content, Eh?

Ottawa, though originally from Toronto. Train downtown. I live here with my dogsled team and subsist off of whale blubber, and muskrat steaks. Screw massive eating, it’s all about the wild game.
out.

Doin’ it in St. John’s Newfoundland at the Aquarena Nautilus Club.

Steev, you can buy Biotest products cheap at a health food store on Yonge Street, just south of College (sorry forget the name right now). In fact, that’s the best place for protein too.
What do you do at RBC DS?

Hello fellow Canucks…I am from Mtl and i train at Flex gym…Right now i am abt to graduate from Concordia and i am working at the Royal Bank.

Hey JohnT!! I live in Drumheller, AB, but lived in Brooks for 5 years (moved 3 years ago.) Have you ever trained at Fitness Works Gym? Not a bad facility considering the size of the town - one of the few things I miss about Brooks. You should check it out if you haven’t done so.

It is great to see that there is a good abundance of T-men up here in the great north. I am currently about to enter my fourth year of Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. Train at the school gym and the varsity weight room (been through a few workouts with my friend the Bodyguard their). Varsity weight room needs some serious retooling. Compared to division one schools in the states, our varsity weight room looks like sandbox. Go Stangs.

Many thanks for the info from those who knew about Waterloo. That sounds like the kinda place I want to train at, Bodyguard… all the necessities. After I read that John Berardi was at Western I kinda regretted not applying there, they must have a good Chemistry/Biochem program(I’m in Chem engineering at Waterloo). There is quite number of y’all working for RBC DS, which is kinda funny. My father works there too here in Ottawa, in fact I was supposed to apply for their scholarship thing but I missed the deadline.

Rydown brother, was that one thrown at me? If it was, the soreness wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. I just finished 8X3 deadlifts and feel fine…until tomorrow.
Listen, you must reveal this secret identity. Is this one of the BoyZ Club? Peace.

Steev brother, how goes?
Yeah the place is one the east side of Yonge and a Vietnamese guy runs it. Any business you give him is appreciated. The way I see it, the more people that buy the “imported” stuff, the more trips he’ll make. I haven’t been in since March but I’ll definetly check him out if he’s got BIOTEST PRODUCTS! He has to go south of the border a “smuggle” them up for us muscle headz. Peace.

Hi BJ. Nope never worked out at Fitness Works. They’d laugh their ass off if they caught a glimse of my skinny legs. Still trying to get em to grow. But my wife worked there about five years ago when the gym was located in the North end of town in that strip mall. Take care… John.

Thanks for the tip CloBro, I found the store today on Yonge south of College and picked up some Tribex 500. He must have every brand of protein powder that there is. I work in the computer technology side at RBC DS. I have been there about three years. Big Rob, it looks like the owner of the store on Yonge has found an official Canadian distributor of Tribex as the bottle had bilingual packaging and the name of a company that handles sales in Canada. I hope they help to make it more widely available. I told the owner of the store that I found out about him through this web site. He was so happy that he gave me a $5 chocolate bar. Thanks!

Ah…the good old days when Daryl Jensen ran the place (I can’t remember his partner’s name.) Those guys knew Customer Service! It broke my heart when they sold the place, it was never the same after they moved downtown. I was there when they first opened in '93. If your wife worked there, I would know her, because that place was my second home. BTW, nobody there would care what you look like - they get all types. Regards - BJ

Darryls partner was Denny. My wife worked at the desk. Her name is Sherry. She said that she would probably remember you if she knew your name. She remembers a guy that always came in that worked at Lakeside. Would that be you? Take care eh?

Just read the thread about a Testosterone support group here in Canada. Love the idea! Darko, here’s a “shout out” for Halifax, NS as well. I’ve finally gotten some time to join the forum - been very busy with our own site - so it’s nice to see plenty of Canucks writing in.

Big Rob are you doing the x-comp program, I noticed you are doing 8x3 sets. If you are how is it going, I am starting it on Sunday, have to let you guys now how it goes. Just finished a cycle of androsol for 4 weeks, went really well up from 209 to 225, ate like a big and got way stronger, hoping the x-comp and post cycle tribex will keep the strength high. Chris thanks for the Halifax shout out, we need more nova scotians on the site. p.s. I think you know who i am, I talk to you from the store i work at about once a month
Dako

Is there no one from Calgary here or what? Trained at Pro-Bodies under the guidance of Rick, Lisa and the rest of the crew. Biggest free-weight section I’d found before landing here in an Arab desert. 47 degrees C and it’s a cool day. I miss my igloo! On the upside, all the BioTest gear is on the shelf here, and it’s the same price as the online BT site.

Wat up all!!! I’m surprised that some of you Downtown/Megacity guys are having problems finding BIOTEST. I’m out in Mississauga, and work out at my gym at work (lots of free weights and different benches - the basics to get HUGE!!!) and at Gold’s at Rockwood Mall. I work those 12 hour shifts that swing from days to nights whenever. Anyway, if you guys are willing to travel out to the suburbs there are quite a few places that carry BIOTEST. Out in Oakille, Discount nutrition (their prices are almost identical to the cost from this website - INCREDIBLE PLACE!!! No A-sol), GNC’s at every mall - tons of places!!! The one thing I have noticed is the lack of availability of A-Sol, Nan-Sol, Surge, PowerDrive and Advanced Protein. Does the the guy from Younge & College got this stuff I can’t find??? I’m no monster but I tend to stick out, I’m in the gym to grow into a SUPERMONSTARISM!!! A few things that I just love about be Canadian - people are nicer to you when you go to other countries, we got the CNE/The Ex, our BEER kicks ASS!!! One thing that is a good/bad thing is at the EX we got the Beaver Tail stand in the food building and we got TINY TOM DONUTS - The best sweets to eat by far!!! I can’t wait to shake my bags of warm donuts in icing sugar and inhale them!!! I got a little off topic - any fellow Canadians know where to get A-sol or the other stuff I mentioned??? Lastly. BIGROB anf job openings out in the Boulevard Club??? I want a part-time job on top of this computer gig I’m doing, nothing to do with computers/internet/networking. T-DOT!!!

Hey i am from nova scotia too. Not Halifax but close enough. I am 19 years old and about to break into some hardcore training when i move out for school in sept. Next year i will be moving to Halifax for the second part of my corse and hopefully by then i will be an official T-MAN. later.

Hey Tito , if you get to Halifax check out the store “Life and Sport” they have all the Biotest stuff there T2 , Md6 etc.and pretty cheap too . Prices are on their web site .Keep liftin heavy brother .

Johnny Kanuck

Sure, JohnT , I remember your wife. She may or may not remember me. I was usually there early in the afternoon and on Saturday mornings. I’m fairly quiet and don’t command much attention to myself or do much socializing - Get in and Get out is my motto. BTW, I don’t work for Lakeside, I’m a banker (BNS)- My name is Brent. Ciau.
