I was a state champ in long jump in high school… ahhh, the good old days… now my knees crack and my hip pops and I dreamed last night I had gray hair!
Ha! Hairdye is my best friend - I started greying early and it doesn’t look good with my coloring.
OG - dig your log. I’m a ninja, too, but of the desk variety. Occasionally, I break out and kill the assorted pirate. 10 points if you know about www.realultimatepower.net
I started going grey at 22. I’ve been colouring for so long I think I may be close to entirely white now. I have no urge to find out.
But, do the drapes match the carpet?
Who has much carpet any more?

Well the appearance of my grey pubes put paid to my hopes for a giant 70’s style porno bush.

Fuck off. I think I started crying the day I noticed they were starting to. That’s why god invented razors.
I think this thread and the chaotic conversations suits me. And I know way so much more about some of you now.
My firebush has mellowed with new white highlights in the recent years. I tired plucking but it hurt! No hard floors, just a nice clean and kept stair runner.
Yesterday’s workout was with my friend’s nephew. It is kinda fun being a guinea pig and trying new things.
We started with a lot of stretching… lots and lots…lots
then plank into a pushup x3
Walking lunges with 15lbs dbs
walk to overhead press
20 steps x4
Russian Twists holding 20lb ball
20 twists x4
Deadlift with DBs
25lbs x 15 4 sets
jumprope
3 minutes (which did result in my thwapping my forehead with the jump rope)
bicep twist curls
it was a bicep hammer curl at the top a twist to palm up,then back down still palm up, then back up, twist to hammer and back down and that was 1 rep
15lbs x 15 4 sets
Combo DB Flye and DB Press
one hand doing a Flye, one hand doing a press alternating
Flye 20lbs x15 4 sets
Press 25lbs x 15 4 sets
finished with running the stairs 5 times holding a 10lb ball

Tomorrow I am working out with my friend’s nephew that is training to be a trainer again. I have asked him why we do so many reps instead of increasing the weight and he said it is the guidelines of his class.
Are you going to let that slide? It’ll make him a better trainer if he know’s why he’s doing what he’s doing. I guess it depends on how close you two are.

We did discuss why not a heavier weight as I was feeling like my muscles were just getting tired, not that they were out of strength. He said that for “women” it is better to use higher volume to produce longer muscles. I kid you not. He said a heavier weight would create a bulk that women don’t like.
I suggested Figure Athlete for him to look at so hopefully he will.
He’s young, he’s 22 and taking a class so he does know everything right now. And I had agreed to go through his training as a guinea pig as instructed.
also, you cannot eat fruit with anything because your body will not digest it if you eat it with a protein or a carb… it’s true.

Oy, maybe you should tell him you want to create bulk and see what he does.
Are they actually learning these things in classes? Uh oh.

ok, I’m lost…what kind of school is this guy going to? LOL!!

it’s a program offered by a community college out here. I am actually tempted to take one of their classes, “Nutrition for Athletes”.
he’s so cute, and so earnest and he wants to start some afterschool programs for kids. I do like the goal and the drive, but he just says, “no, that isn’t true, you have to use a high volume to develop a muscle to be long and lean otherwise you just get a big muscle belly.” Oh if only that were easy.
But Jeh-Fit says he’s changed his techniques a lot from when he first started so hopefully Joel will also.

I thought that just made you fart.
fruit makes you fart?
like… “beans, beans the musical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot”? aren’t they legumes?
Mixing fruit and protein. That’s just what I read somewhere. I don’t pay attention because I mix them all the time. I’m single. I can fart as much as I like.

so Julie… just wondering… did this farting as much as you like have any correlation with being single? Did the guy hate the dutch ovens you were surprising him with?
I KID, I KID!!!
it was when you lit them on fire that did it wasn’t it?
