okay so was in work early today which is good because I get off earlier.

So two friends and I went to a local high school to do some road work.

We did crab and bear walks, plants and bridges. Unfortunately the wheelbarrows were a bit much for them but the trying was pretty funny.

the high school has a quarter mile track so we jogged the first quarter mile and then we started sprinting on the curves. It was fun and I was out of breath and I forgot how much fun it can be just to go out and run as fast as you can.

And… I’m sorry to say I was an unkind friend when my one friend totally ate it and just did a face plant. Oh man… too funny. But it reminds us all we aren’t as breakable as we think we are. I tried the long jump and I still jump like a rock.

To exit the track you have to climb this flight of damn steep stairs. Oh that sucked. I was hoping I would be lassoed by a band of marauding indians and drug up the remaining steps but no… no… didn’t happen.

I will definitely be doing that more often.

Did I already mention I am jealous of your outside workouts?

why can’t you work out, outside?

and I gotta tell yah, I do like it myself.

this is the lake I was walking around last week.

I will take a pic of my beach next Tuesday or Wednesday. I get up early, about 5:00am, get some coffee, and go to this beach and watch the waves and the surfers and sometimes the dolphins if I am lucky.

That sounds like my kind of cardio! I LOVE being by the water…
[/quote]

oh the closest I get to cardio at the beach in the morning are the coffee cup curls. =)

I just go to enjoy the quiet and the ocean and no crowds

Haaha! This made me laugh.

I was a state champ in long jump in high school… ahhh, the good old days… now my knees crack and my hip pops and I dreamed last night I had gray hair!

Ha! Hairdye is my best friend - I started greying early and it doesn’t look good with my coloring.

OG - dig your log. I’m a ninja, too, but of the desk variety. Occasionally, I break out and kill the assorted pirate. 10 points if you know about www.realultimatepower.net

I started going grey at 22. I’ve been colouring for so long I think I may be close to entirely white now. I have no urge to find out.

But, do the drapes match the carpet?

If genetics are any guide, I should be going gray any day now. And not cute wisps of gray, but those gray roots with dark hair that make you look like Cruella de Vil if you don’t dye. That’s what happens to the women in my family. Not looking forward to it.

No gray on my head.

I do have half a dozen gray pubes.

Aren’t you glad you know this now?

I am almost completely white across the top of my head now… It is just freaking craziness, and I have a few white eyebrow hairs. If those go white I am going to look so freaky.

Maybe everyone goes grey early but no one used to talk about it.

Okay so tonight I played racquetball. I am awesome and won. Of course I played against a friend of mine that squeals when the ball gets near her but a win is a win. Just saying.

Tomorrow I am working out with my friend’s nephew that is training to be a trainer again. I have asked him why we do so many reps instead of increasing the weight and he said it is the guidelines of his class. I have no idea what I will be doing tomorrow. He is a handsome and fit youngen so it will not be torture.

Heya OG !

I didn’t know you had a log. Great job! Overall, how are you feeling about your progress? Sounds like you’re doing great! I’ve always thought sex on the pulldown machine would be the best. Me doing pulldowns, the guy (nekkid!) facing me. MMmmmmmmMMMM…

Grins,

Renee

Hiya Wicked Girl =)

I wasn’t progressing and I am still doing what seems like more just … hhmmm… activities than a concentrated effort on upping my numbers.

That may change. I am more conscious now of what I am lifting which is a good thing.

Maybe she has hardwood floors.

This is why I love you, PMPM!! Actually I am jealous that you beat me to it!

Wait a minute! was this last page of my ninja training schedule dedicated to Julie and PMPM’s pubes?

I need to work on my ninja scary factor.

Oh, I know what you mean. I have longish curly thick hair, and I never planned on coloring it because I like that look when it’s gray, if it’s the wispy gray, BUT my mom is getting the “wings.” Not romantic at all. My midlife hair plans may be shot.

Fuck off. I think I started crying the day I noticed they were starting to. That’s why god invented razors.
