Offseason 49 Weeks Out Training and PED Log

Greetings,

I am starting an offseason log to document my progress and receive/share ideas.

Stats

Height: 6’1"

Stage weight 2022: 188lbs

Stage weight 2023: 202lbs

Current weight June 2023: 245lbs

Age: 35

Division: Classic

Years competing: 2

Background: former strongman, competed for 5 years. Still love the sport but my joints and ligaments did not. 2 ACL surgeries, 1 bicep surgery, L4/5 bulged disc, and ruptured adductor were enough for me to call it quits… for now

Goals: Win the overall at a high level state show, go all in on the offseason this year and see what this body can do under the right conditions.

Current training model:
6×/wk push-pull-legs prioritizing upper body

Current diet model:

  • High-medium-low days
  • 240p 1100c 0f added on high days
  • 300p 600c 40f added on medium days
  • 300p 360c 80f added on low days
  • 2 high, 4 medium, 1 low a week

Current cardio

  • 60 min fasted LISS in morning 7x/wk
  • 12 min HIIT 3x/wk

Lifestyle

  • 10000 steps/day average
  • 6 meals/day
  • 7.5 hours of sleep
  • all non-negotiable for the next 49 weeks

PED model:

  • test c 325mg/day
  • primobolan 100mg/day
  • hgh 10iu low 15iu medium 20 iu high
  • lantus 0iu low 25iu medium 50iu high
  • humalog 0iu low 0-10iu between meals on medium and high days depending on BG reading 2 hours post prandial 10-20iu preworkout
  • humlin R 15-25iu preworkout when timing with humalog is not the best option
  • t4 100mcg/day
  • anastrozole 1mg/day
    *3 weeks into this model

I will be posting training updates, weekly check in picks, and any changes as this long offseason progresses.

Subbed!

Can you post your last two competition pictures (one or two of each is fine)? Trying to correlate weight and physique.

You’re currently bulking and doing this much cardio?

The 60 min LISS is daily routine walk dogs with my wife in the morning.

The intervals are what i would consider minimal thresholds for sport specific conditioning. A good working set will take 20-60 seconds. I want my heart, lungs, and anaerobic threshold to be able to keep workload high as bw and strength progresses

I also believe that moving as a
I progress in bw will allow for more runway in the offseason. Last year i neglected this and was getting back pumps and generally feeling bad earlier than i liked.

I am trying to post pictures but am having difficulty navigating how. When i try to upload i get a message saying only new users can embed media.

What’s your weight cap at 6’1"? You look amazing!! Back shot is nuts!!

Thank you, i priortized learning how to train back more like a bodybuilder than strength athlete last year.

My cap is 231

A strange occurrence between 2022 and 2023 was that i grew an inch. I was at 6’ last year where the cap was 220 but measured in well over this year… i believe this is from less heavy low bar squatting and strongman yoke training allowiny mt spine to decompress… or Growth can make you taller…

@Mod_Phoenix @Mod_Starr I normally wouldn’t go tagging and asking favors, but if there’s some new user restriction - can we get this resolved?

@Dsrx Thank you for uploading pictures and explaining - I will be following along intently.

Thank you for tagging along. I enjoy talking training, nutrition, and pharma theory and ideas please never hesitate to start a discussion.

Since you mentioned it…

I was surprised to see how light your dosing was for AAS. I was also surprised to see how heavy your dosing of HGH and insulin were.

Are you keeping your anabolics light to help your body recover during off season? If so, do you think HGH and insulin are more or less damaging than higher dose anabolics? Admittedly, I’m underinformed on HGH and insulin use.

Anabolics are high

325 test c and 100 primo is dosed daily.

Weekly mgs is roughly 3000.

GH was something i responded very well too. Started off the dose low and continued to creep it up with food increases.

Insulin is mostly in to help manage BG and only goes up when readings dictate.

Test and primo are my favorite. I have tried everything out there and have settled on these 2 being the ones that offer me the most in terms of risk/reward.

I know high test is not trendy, i have tried other ways but always perform and feel the best when tesosterone is the back bone especially after i began using GH.

I can’t help but laugh at myself here, it was even in the text I quoted  my bad bro.

Do you plan on taking a cruise to let your body recover?

When blood work or other health concerns dictate or progress halts and rhere is no reason to continue, yes.

For now my body is willing to accept food and training and produce results while health markers are within my compass of acceptance, so i will keep enjoying the ride

:open_mouth: wow. I’m jealous some guys can handle these doses without much downside. That’s about how much Test I used to cycle per week. Do you have a lot of side effects from such a heavy PED use? I love HGH but also can’t handle anything over a replacement dose without feeling like total shit.

Some drugs i do not handle well in any dose.

Trestolone, dianabol, and andadrol give me gyno and high blood pressure just by looking at them

Tren messes with my appetite and makes me too hot all the time to be worth it im any circumstamce but contest prep or perhaps the tail end of comp prep for a show or meet.

Masteron, Nandolone and EQ i have pushed high and are ok for me. Just like primo better.

HGH and i got along from day 1. Felt younget and stronger almost immediately after my first week at 3iu a day. I have slowly pushed it up from there. If i go to fast my hands will hurt and i will get pretty watery.
