This oughta get some action. Hannity interviews the son of a Hamas leader turned Israeli spy telling the truth about Islam. I can hear this already.

I bet that book is very good. He does go a bit goofy here and there though. He was in favor, at least initially, of trying the gitmo detainees in NYC.
I really dont get this whole “once you have bills thing”. I graduated college 2 yrs ago so I have student loans, car note, insurance, rent, utilities, cell phone, gym, netflix, pussy etc. I’ve been an account exec at a marketing firm on JFL Boulevard surrounded by many different types of professionals for years now. So it’s not like im some 17yr old skateboard kid or whatever. I listen to hannity on 1210 (for my philadelphia people) along with dom giordano, and grimaldi vs williams just to here the other side of the spectrum.
Jon stewart is a credible news source and whatever he doesnt address during the show (limited time-30m min) he at least makes us aware of for our own research. He’s been on fox news a couple times and pretty much dominates whoever he’s debating with on there. This forces me to believe that it’s YOU(namely push) who only listens to one side instead of making a level headed decision after hearing both sides. Reason being, you would see error in a lot of the “news” seen on fox because it’s pointed out on his show.

Well, there’s your problem I guess.

Exactly how I figured the response would be. How very close minded and moronic (aka right-wing) of you.
Sickabs - There are so many things that Obama wants to do. Fix the economy, the schools, the environment, pave the roads, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. The problem is that there is a breaking point with how to pay for it all. Nothing is free (as we all know hopefully.) There is where Obama scares us. He thinks that the American people are an ATM machine of unlimited wealth. He thinks we are the American Express Black Card, with no limit. And he seems to be perfectly ok with that. However, we the people are not ok with that. You simply cannot create a utopia without wreaking havoc somehow. That is just the plain truth. It is not ok to hit us up for taxes, especially for so many bullshit social programs. Our parents
Your idea that Jon Stewart is a credible news person is downright scary. He is more of a comedian than anything, and while I enjoy his humor, he is never critical of our president. He didn’t dominate O’Reilly, but he did do well against him.
You mentioned how can we watch a news channel that has Karl Rove on it? Obama is supporting many of the policies Bush created, so how much better is Obama than Bush? Yea he didnt create the mess, but he is certainly extending it, and THAT is Obama’s choice.

I can def appreciate not wanting to be taxed more heavily etc…but how many billions are we spending a month because of the war (which Obama didnt start I hope you know).
As for Jon Stewart, I think you are confusing him with stephen colbert as stephen really gives no political insight and is strickly humorous. Stewart, on the otherhand, gives up to date analysis of the daily happenings in washington but in a humorous way. And, they criticize the left all the time. Just tonight they made a joke referring to the healthcare bill summoning demons which would kill the repubs. Then the dems would be a full majority but they still couldnt pass the bill because theyre pussies…it was actually funny.

You’re the one who included “pussy” in your litany of things you now have - it did seem rather odd to me.
Sorry I thought it was funny.

As you can obviously see (which you did, but you wanted to attack me) I was listing my expenses aka bills. Now, as men, we all know gf’s are def an expense. I was responding to an accusation that i’m some kid who doesnt know the world/have responsibilities regarding bills (being an adult).

If you get your news from the Comedy Channel…you don’t…know the world yet.
If you’re two years out of college with no wife and kids…you don’t…know the world yet.
If you waltz into PWI like you’re The Man because you hate the right wing at the tender age of 23…you don’t…know the world yet.
What youre saying is, nothing jon stewart says is credible because his show is on comedy central, you are not an adult if you dont have a wife and kids, and I dont know the world because I have a strong opinion regarding the falsities fox news correspondents air on tv. Gotcha.
I guess it’s just world view from the perspective of the 27< crowd, who along with a high % of minorities, are the ones who elected Obama. I really admire the fact that this administration is not only making everything theyre doing readily available for public knowledge, theyre also encouraging us to inform ourselves…But, I dont know the world so I’m going to bow out.
I will browse through links, should any of you provide them, that you find important/informative dealing with republican & far-right ideals.
I’ll be working on Market street all next week, you want to meet up and have lunch? Maybe we’ll talk some politics, lifting, maybe we’ll hit up a gym and you can show me that 400 pound squat. ![]()

This is why 27< crowd for the most part doesnt watch that crap, or listen to Hannity (who plays video clips that dont correspond to the story for purposes of pulling the wool over your heads). The 27< Jon Stewart crowd isnt your savviest crowd but you cant dispute how Jon dissects the absurdity that occurs on fox news.
Really? Mind showing us where you got “27< doesn’t watch that crap…” from?
Fox News wins another ratings victory
…
The latest quarterly Nielsen ratings, released Wednesday, Fox News had a bigger audience than CNN and MSNBC combined, not only in total viewers but in the 25-to-54 age demographic that news executives aim for. In prime time, Fox News had 2.25 million viewers; the other two, 1.73 million. In the demo, Fox News had 583,000; the others, 558,000.
Even more indicative of the Fox News surge than the gross numbers audience numbers are the trends. Not surprisingly, CNN and MSNBC both a substantial number of viewers who came aboard for last year’s election: CNN’s prime-time audience wasdown 30 percent from the year-ago numbers, MSNBC’s 10 percent. But Fox News was actually up 2 percent. The trend was the same across all hours and demographics.
LOL- I don’t even watch network news because I don’t have TV in my house. The Liberal bias of ABCCBSMSNBCCNNPBS is quantified, documented, admitted to by insiders, and published in numerous books, but the rabid-left-Fox hatred tells me that they must be hitting home runs.

Red Eye Resurgence: More Demo Viewers Watch Fox At 3am Than CNN at 8pm
Red Eye averaged 432,000 total viewers and 202,000 in the demo. Letâ??s deal with the demo first â?? CNNâ??s 8pmET show, hosted by Campbell Brown, averaged 191,000 in the demo. Letâ??s just let that one sink in â?? Fox News had more people in the all important A25-54 demographic watching their channel at three in the morning (east coast time) than CNN had for the show that leads off their prime time. This says as much about Fox News as it does about CNN. Wow.

I’m pretty sure his point was someone that refers to a woman as a “pussy” and as an expense is probably not mature or reasonable.

SickAbzzzz, man, it’s one thing to come into PWI forum swinging, but you actually have to hit something…
I don’t know SteelyD, I think he hit the nail on the head with this one … if you dismiss the back door Nebraska and Union deals and the inability to follow up on the CSPAN healt debates to name a few then SA is spot on with that assessment

OK, got me!
Joe Biden update: He meets on transparency today. But the meeting is closed
Everybody should just relax and take it easy.
Unsubstantiated rumors that Vice President Joe Biden had suddenly gone a little loopy and ordered some of his official meetings opened to at least cursory public or media attention were just that – unsubstantiated rumors.
After a recent public sighting, fears had mounted that the one-time, long-term senator might rebel against traditional White House strictures and start acting on all the administration’s oft-promised promises of government transparency and official openness running back into 2008.
But the VP’s public schedule today puts all those fears to rest.
In fact, loyal Ticket readers will recall that one day last summer with no advance warning whatsoever Biden’s official White House schedule changed from listing frequent “private meetings” to listing frequent meetings that are “closed press.” Was this dramatic and…
…little-noticed vocabulary change a sign of internal administration turmoil? What did it really mean?
No, of course not. And, nothing.
