The reason I like FOX is because there is NEVER EVER any story, regardless of the implications for ANYBODY ANYWHERE on the political spectrum that I fail to hear about. Independent media research outfits regularly report that FOX’s hard news reportage is indeed fair and balanced. The opinion shows are hosted by conservatives, but also constantly feature an army of prominent liberals. Many of them faaaar left liberals.

I shudder to think where we’d be right now, as if it isn’t bad enough, if it weren’t for FOX turning the light on DC. We’d likely have this horrific healthcare bill, cap n trade and God only knows what else already passed into law. Not to mention people like Van Jones openly occupying positions of power. Oh wait, we do, starting with the whitehouse. FOX is pummeling other news outfits because they are the one and only place in the major media to escape the sycophantic socialist boot licking shamelessly displayed by the others.

Obama didn’t win because of Obama, he won because of the hatred toward George Bush and the Republican Party. During tough times, many people look for a savior, and the media helped tout Obama as just that. But the truth is, he really has no clue what he is doing, and doesn’t have the humility to ask for help by those who can help.

When Obama ran his campaign, he talked about this health care bill and how everyone making under 250k would not see a rise in taxes. Where is this fictitious plan? WHERE IS THE PLAN HE CAMPAIGNED ON? He never had one. Once again, the man yapping about change did exactly what ever other president has done in the past. Say what you must to get elected, once elected, do whatever the fuck you want.

Where is the transparency on C-SPAN he promised? The fucking president of C-SPAN even contacted Obama telling him they are ready to broadcast the health care debate. The bribes to Blanche Lincoln and Ben Nelson, is that your definition of change? Cash for Clunkers? Did you know that card dealers raised their MSRP by the same amount the government would reimburse them? And they still continued with that failing program?

You see Sickabs, (we, Fox News, right-wingers, conservatives, tea party people) don’t even need to invent shit to show Obama is full of shit, he has done it all on his own.

The problem is all the right-wing can do is criticize. Everyone can criticize. What I dont see from repubs are solid solutions. Ring-wing offers nothing but petty criticisms that always reminds me of the quote involving the pot and the kettle. Obama used air force one costing tax payer money…didnt the repubs fly out to Hawaii (they said Obama was out of touch coming from there) somewhat recently for a convention? Was that necessary? Mike Steele walking around in a Hawaiian shirt wearing a lay. Thats not really my point. I just see them offering nothing, no solutions/ideas, just criticisms.

He does as usual have a couple less than entirely persuasive bits, but pretty good also as usual. I would have shown the guys book and using a total unknown like the “bald communist” doesn’t carry much weight.

I will get a chance to view this in its entirety later, but does he mention anything about this “study” that college students become democrats and those that learn civics lean to repubs? I mean that just sounds silly to me. I’m sure it’s the democrats fault (and no fault of repubs) that civics has not been taught in schools since like the 60’s. I actually called in to hannitys show on 1210 am to discuss the fact that its not taught anymore. (He does a man on the street peice where they ask students questions and they get them wrong all the time… because civics is no longer taught).

I hear this kind of statement a lot, and there are quite a few things I find wrong with it:

1-This one comes down personal philosophy: in general conservatives DON’T want a government solution. They want us to, gasp, come up with solutions on our own. This can be contrasted with liberal philosophy where there is no problem too big or too small for government (esp. federal government) to step in and try and make the world a happy place. The problem is, perfection is unattainable, so conservatives would rather see the most efficient actor, ie the citizenry/free market, do what it has to do (again, its not perfect, there WILL be recessions, bad outcomes, etc), but it is better than being drained by an inefficient government solution.

2-If the status quo is better than the proposed change, why the hell shouldn’t the proposed change be criticized? I hear this a lot regarding health care, but guess what, there is no magic government fix. We don’t ALWAYS need a federal government solution to every problem. If the new system is dogshit, I would put all my effort into making sure that it does not pass, especially if all the conservative proposed changes get dismissed by the other side as nothing.
