Jacked AF my man!! It’s funny I have the same vein repartition as you: my left shoulder/biceps looks like a freaking road map/lightning bolt, whereas the right side is less vascular despite it being my strong side

Pic from today after the leg day. My scale is broken but I think I am 181-183 lbs.
I’m not sure I don’t even want to get leaner tbh, I don’t want to get too small and I’m very, very happy with the progress.

Hah. From what my diet has been a piece of fruit is a high carb day.

I had to ween myself down from a half serving of fruit to a third of it for my guts to stabilize. Bodies be crazy.

Right?! I’ve been trying for like 2 weeks to drop the last pound or so. I actually gave up yesterday and decided to end it. Went ahead and ate a good bit of fruit throughout the day in addition to my normal food. Probably 3300 calories, up from about 2500. Woke up 2.5 pounds lighter and just made my original goal by .2 pounds… I don’t get it.

Cheat meals are magic. Not regularly including them was hamstringing me.

It’s easy to get in your head about this stuff too. It’s not really a cheat meal if it helps.

I can’t imagine doing this stuff with all the added variables of drugs. It’s confusing and frustrating enough without them. I imagine the temptation to turn things up every time you stall would be dangerous for me.

Yesterday didn’t quite go as planned. Almost got an ambulance ride with my 2 year old. No sleep, and got up sick this morning. Went ahead and trained and ate this morning. Video is below. I can do stills and a recap later, but I’m done. Planning to eat too much and nap most of the day.

If the truth be known I’ve been a closet bodybuilding wanna be, literally since I was in elementary school. When we wrote about what we wanted to be when we grew up I wrote about bodybuilding (my uncle was a bodybuilder). Finding out about the drugs and stuff turned me off the sport in early adulthood, but I’ve never stopped loving building and shaping my body. It really does mean a lot to hear that.

Although I have to admit signing up for a show is pretty tempting right now with as lean as I’ve gotten. It would check a big one off the bucket list. I do know I’d need to find a coach first though. I don’t know the tanning and posing and peaking side at all. And I really feel like I’ve gone about as far as I can on my own with the diet.

Well I stopped the diet a week back, signed up for a comp in September in the 181lb class. Weighed in at 168 this morning which makes me wonder why my back looks like this.

Then I remembered the most consistent part of my routine over the last 3 years has been log and farmers. There’s something to this strongman thing.

Well the lighting changed in the bathroom, along with some minor changes.

Hit 90% plus of my workouts…diet…meh, but better than where I started.
