What is everyone’s plan for their T-ransformation this year? I’m planning to start loosing weight from the 18th of Jan up until the finish line and strip off at least 10kg/22lbs.
The other thing I’m hoping to do is get more involved with the rest of you because I like the community spirit. I read a fair few logs but rarely comment because I don’t feel like I have anything useful to say. I won’t get anymore useful but I’d like to try and be more active in discussions.
I think one or two guys have done that before. Makes it a little confusing with the categories at the end, and the following year, but basically… if it gets you in, go for it.
Not really. It’s also why I kinda switched to just the one thread kinda close to the start date instead of previous years with a pre-announcement thread. The spirit of the thing is “as close to Jan 1” for the before. We’re like a week and a half out as-is, so it’s not that big a deal by now.
The Afters are a more concrete “no later than” June 1 because I need to put everything together by then.
You can post Befores here or in your log.
But anyone posting pics in their log, be sure to tag me to make sure I see them and can keep them filed away for the comparisons. I also try to Like the Before pics to stay organized, so if someone’s posted their Before and I haven’t Liked it, you can give me another tag to double-check because I might not have caught it yet.

I’ll go now, so @wanna_be and @ChickenLittle can have a nice, fluffy post. My brother-in-law died on Saturday, and I spent from Thursday until Sunday morning eating the way Italians eat when they’re dealing with a massive heart attack and its aftermath during a pandemic, when you all have to sit in a giant eating group waiting for calls because there’s no visiting at the hospital. This comes after my family’s giant 3-day celebration the weekend before, and before Christmas and then the funeral next week, where I will eat some more. I don’t anticipate any changes, and I frankly don’t anticipate working out, between kids staying over and the travel.
My goal…I just want to suck less. I want to get back on track. I’m in the worst shape of my adult life, and it’s unacceptable.
