I managed to gain 3lbs by dieting my way so I’ve had to go for the nuclear option to try and get things moving in the right direction.
Your way of dieting sounds more fun, though.
I’ve lost 6lbs, but had put 5 on, so down a whole lb since the start!

Imagine being a nearly 200lb man trying to eat under 1800 kcal for a rather extended period of time
So far so good, let my emotions get the better of me yesterday as far as eating/drinking goes but one day won’t do too much damage. Under 200 lbs for the first time since 2018 and my arms/thighs have grown. Pecs are lagging but I prioritized press in my last cycle.
Ok ish here, weight has increased, wasn’t the plan wasn’t not the plan. Gradual increase of about 3-4lbs. Had cut the sugar and increased cardio but now my Achilles is hurting and I’ve just eat half a pack of Mars Carmel cookies, an apple crumble and custard and a toffee yum yum, that’s after dinner which was chilli chicken pasta and cheese. Been a tasty day.
I decided to outsource my nutrition calculations to a paid app, which rewarded me (a 200lbs+ active male) with a daily allowance of 1700kcals. I’ve also upped workout frequency fairly substantially as well.
Won’t be that for long on 1700 cals.

what app? I use myfitnesspal but don’t want to pay the monthly charge. If there was something just as good that I could just buy and be done with, I’d like that.

@jdm135 @theinneroh I’m using CarbonDiet app which has a food tracker like myfitnesspal, but recalculates macros and calories for you based on what you say you’ve eaten and your weigh ins. I’ve been using it for 5 days so far so I’m a long way from expert on this.

Conditioning is going well, riding most days instead of driving is just topping up the tank.

This week seems to be the first one my weight has started going down. I would like to tell myself it’s because I’ve been recomping but it’s probably because I’ve not been tracking too well and eating too much.
I’m still totally gonna smash this though so watch out you guys.
