Sorry about the shoulder, man

I agree. As much as I’d love to pick programs for other people, I’d be really reluctant to do it if it wasn’t working both ways

Well that sucks!

Gotcha. That could be interesting! Think I’m out though. Im riding the surgery bus with @Frank_C

Well hell, can’t let you walk through the valley alone. I guess I’ll join you in the mass made simple misery for 6 weeks.

Glad to have you along for the ride man. Which version are you planning to do?

Goals: get big af while leaning out a bit…can it be done. We shall see. I’ve lost weight so many times that should be easy. Just doing it slowly as to put as much muscle on as possible is going to be the trick. Legs, shoulders and back need to grow. Weight 202lbs height 6’2" starting a training log soon.

Definitely do this - great place to get advice when you need it.

Good luck!

Mann I’ve been eyeing the T-Nation version for a while. It seems a little open to interpretation, which I’m a fan of, but I’ll take your advice and use bodyweight on the bar for the rep day… seems like a great way to stay true to the purpose. I’ll also be adding some upper body assistance volume.

I’m thinking it’ll be a ¿nice? intermission from conjugate training

The ebook version works up to bodyweight on the bar over 6 weeks. I can send you a list of the progression if you’d like. It’s more difficult than the tnation version.

Man that’d be awesome… I think haha. Appreciate it

I hate taking pictures of myself when I look like shit but I hate looking like shit more. This is the worst I’ve looked in at least 2 years. Looking to return to old strength levels and drop weight

Since it’s an irrefutable law that diets have to start on Monday I’ve got my before pic. Starting weight 194. Goal weight 175 before my honeymoon cruise on 2/26. I took most of 2019 off for various reasons but I’m back in the game. Will be starting my training log back up as well. Sorry the pic isn’t very good; the bathrooms in my new house are small.

Congrats on your (I assume) wedding

Although we were invited to a honeymoon during our friends’ wedding in September, with the honeymoon delayed until February. Sure, they were a little drunk at the time of invitation but I naturally assumed the offer was legit (“you should come with us!”). Imagine my surprise upon discovering a February trip was planned and we weren’t going.

But I’m now told that this isn’t the actual honeymoon, to which we are naturally still invited, but which will be further delayed.

Here I am. A little background; I am not training anymore since December started. The reason? I didn’t have quad tendonitis, I have a bone marrow edema in my left knee. Doctor told me that maybe it will never completely recover. My leg days are over. My running days, too. Plus, I hurt my right shoulder (shoulder impingement) during a soccer match. I’m recovering, I think I’ll be back in the gym in late January. I’ll have to tweak my training; no more squat, no more Deadlift. My only leg workout will be a 1 hour slow walk on the incline treadmill 2 times a week. Doctor said Rack Pulls are ok so I’ll give them a try. My nutrition is far from optimal but soon I’ll be able to get into warrior diet again with my wife, so it isn’t a problem.
Stats: Height 188 cm (6-2)
Weight 85 kg (187 lbs)
Age 29 YO
I am slightly more muscolar than last year, I hope not to lose too much mass on my legs next months. The plan is to clean bulk until late april and then aggressively cut for a month. Once again, I’ll try my best.

If we don’t see ‘stache gains, I will be disappointed.
