Roasted meats are dangerous for me
Add some fruit and all hell breaks loose

Down almost 9 lbs. Maybe it’s the reduced activity overall, but sticking to a deficit has been pretty much effortless so far.

I’ll start doing some hill sprints a couple of times a week starting from tomorrow because the words I spoke in another thread resonated with me and I made myself realize how much of a pussy I’ve been with conditioning. It’s time to change that once and for all.

Keeping in mind that normal people are fat. At least in the US.

You can add UK and Australia to that club.

Doing so would surely exceed the weight limit.

A football player buddy of mine and I are going to do the Litvinov workout on Monday.

Probably with 135lbs, or maybe even just 95lbs, compared to the original 405lbs.

Oh, and rather than a 400m run we’ll be doing hill sprints. It’s been a long time for me since doing these.

So it’s our version. I’m excited/nervous. If all goes well, I think it’d cover my bases as a weekly leg workout.

Heading into the end zone by doing 30 days of Murph.

I think I finished last year’s challenge down around 77kgs…right now I’m sitting on 82.

What the actual fuck? Is that Murph everyday for 30 days?

Correct
Doing bodyweight only for first ten days
Will try weight vest for the reps the next ten
And then all going well finish with the vest for all final ten

You’re a madman, but good luck

Now that’s discipline and dedication! Great job and good luck :muscle::muscle:

Even I wouldn’t do that :joy::joy::sweat_smile:

You are impressively conditioned, sir

Good luck! I’ve been curious about and afraid of that workout for years.

Thanks! I’m sure using 1/3 of the weight will result in less impressive results but should be a good workout regardless.

It says to do 3x8 for front squats but I suppose you could do 5/3/1’s 3 sets and that way get some type of planned progression too. Hm…might need to give that a go.

I’ve genuinely wanted to see someone do this as written since I first read about it. I think it’s well out of my league, but I’m sure some of the big boys could manage.

Yes, I’m looking at you @T3hPwnisher @Pinkylifting

I can’t front squat 405 for 1, let alone 8. Was never my lift.

In my book, any kind of squat with any weight followed by any kind of running counts.

I honestly think the powerclean to start the whole thing would be the biggest challenge.

405lbs powercleans would put you in pretty rare air. Add 8 front squats and a sub 75s 400m and it’s absolutely insane.

What actually is the lotvinov workout? I’ve never heard of it before and Google is giving me different answers.

Most common seems to be 405 x 8 front squat followed by a 400m sprit for 3 rounds?

If so I can’t even front squat 405 for 1 I’m afraid, 375 is my max for now, though it’s a coo goal to shoot for.

Looking at Litvinov, even at his prime, id never guess he could squat that for 3 sets of 8, let alone with sprints between
