To avoid common shoulder injuries make sure your program includes hitting the hidden muscles like the rotator cuffs and rear delts.

I’d like to try Hot Roxx

If you are forced to train at home, or on the road without equiptment, 2 sturdy chairs can make a decent dip station.

I would love to try Tribex.

I learned that any program works and any diet works if you are consistant. That is the most important lesson. People get too caught up in the small stuff. Old timers didn’t, they basically did everything ‘wrong’ and still managed to get big and strong. That said, I’d love me some Surge.

I have learned that to truly compete with others, I must first conquer myself in the gym!
I would like to have a bottle of MAG-10 caps please.

My tip:
the serratus muscles attach the shoulder blades to the ribs. They are powerful muscles that need to be worked hard. Though hidden from view, they are key players in back development.
Use supine shrugs to develop the serratus:
Set up like for a very high rack lockout for a bench. Unrack but keep elbows locked. Shrug the bar towards the ceiling. The shoulder complex will move only a few inches.
You should use weights comparable to your normal shrug weights, probably bench 1RM + 10-20% or more if you can stabilize it.

If chosen, I’d like to try some Surge.

Don’t talk to me in the gym.

Hot Rox

Simple compound movements offer the best value in terms of growth and strength. I would like a bottle of Mag-10 cpas. laters pk

I have learned that if you read t-mag and apply what they tell you, you will do better than probably 90% of the people in your gym, girl or guy…

i also learned that you don’t have to train with the other girls and use the pink dumbbells to lose weight and look good!

thanks t-mag, you guys rock!! i don’t expect to win another contest, but i wanted to add what i learned.

Don’t be afraid to try something new in the gym because you are worried about what the other people there might think.
If you do anything besides 3x10 they already think you’re nuts so why worry?

Also, a few months on one of CW’s programs combined with lots of good eatin’ will have folks asking “So just what ‘supplements’ are you on now?”

I’d love to try the Hot Rox!!

Focus on contracting the muscle of interest as hard as you can at the “peak” of your movements.

Hot-Rox for the old lady.

When Doing a Max Effort Squat, make sure you use a pair of good ol’ Converse Check Taylors or any common wrestling shoe, this will allow you to push out more on the sides of your feet and thus “spread the floor” which will allow you to take a wider base and keep your knees from coming together as you come up from the bottom of the lift.

Id like to try the Hot Roxx Supplement

i have learned that working out for more than an hour, is unprodutive for most but not all. Adding good fats [flax, walnuts, olive oil] will help you gain more muscle, lose fat and recover faster. I would like to try some new MAG-10.

If you have trouble feeling good mornings working the gluts and hamstrings, try seated good mornings instead. Just load up the weight on your back like normal, then waddle back to a bench and sit on the end of it, and bend forward, not letting the back curve downwards at all, then raise back up. It’ll rock you!!

I’d like to try low carb grow…

Nick

My tip is this: every big guy in the gym started out the same way as every newbie does…one workout, one set, one rep at a time. Don’t expect miracles overnight.

I would like to try Mag-10.

I’ve learned that, although certain variables might not have been perfect, and it might not have felt terrific, no workout is ever wasted.

Nor would a bottle of Hot Rox be.

Want to make your calves feel like you have red hot ice picks poking in them like some bizarre acupunture experiment gone awry? Go to your local, friendly hack squat machine. Place the foot rest in the horizontal position. Now instaed of the normal position facing away from the machine where you can watch the fitness girls do those oh so wonderful stiff legged deadlifts (and boy do I mean stiff), turn your ass around and face the machine. This puts your calves in a pre-stretched position. If you can do a couple sets of these and still walk normal, well, you ain’t using enough weight! I was given this tip by a large muscular woman in the gymn one day, and I told a few buddies about this…the next time I saw them they attempted to beat the crap out of me but could not catch up to me because they could barely walk. Seems they tried this technique the night before a big basketball game and could not move at all on the court. Oops.

Red Katt please!!

TB

You can’t build traps with reps. Explosive movements and/or overload weights will make you like look a WWF stud in no time, so quit with the high-rep shrugs and throw on enough weight to make the bar bend like a noodle.

Mag-10, please.

I have finally learned that 2 hours of curls and tricep extentions doesn’t do anything. Stick with the big compound movements.

I would love to try Hot Roxs if chosen.

Don’t have time to read every article in T-mag’s Previous Issues?

Download a screen reader software (used by the blind) to read out loud while you do things that require you do little thinking. I do this while I format text at work.

Bonus tip: I use Jaws 5.0 and set the voice to “Rocco”. Rocco sounds like he lifts.

I’d like to try Hot-Rox

To get maximal development out of your biceps I find it best to work all three grip positions into the routine. I do this with a strait bar (supinated), hammer curl (neutral), reverse strait bar (pronated), and a combo of all three with alt DB curls. Don’t forget to work the entire ROM from zero to your maximal contraction. I would like to try HOT ROX.
