Actually the “nobody here” part is most likely, almost definitely true. I am just curious as to why so many people on these forums are obsessed with steroids and the limitations of being a natural. Not all naturals are resigned to their fate of only being 190 and lean.
lol at “only” 190 and lean. For guys under 6 foot (hell even 6 foot) that is huge for a natty! If we’re talking true sub 10% as lean. That will take years of doing things right to achieve and shouldn’t be so easily dismissed as small
190 is not huge. Don’t care how lean.
You’re homework is to go look of pics of the guys who compete at ifbb worlds in lower weight classes. Dudes are jacked.

So height doesn’t matter? 5’6 contest lean 190. Will look like a wrecking ball of muscle

I think you’re delusional then. Layne Norton competes around 190-195 which for natty’s of average height is one of (if not the) highest stage weight for natural guys under 6 foot.
Layne looks great, but I wouldn’t say he is huge. And when I said lean I wasn’t exactly referring to contest ready, but I take your point as you did say a sub 10%er.

The questions is, if you saw Layne in that shape, but wearing everyday clothes, walking down the street, would your reaction be “shit that guy is huge” or “wow that guy looks great”? I suspect it would be the latter.

This man has the worst training style in bodybuilding history, fuck half reps he is doing 1/50 rep style. Constant muscle tension ,ha ha ha.

Of course it matters. He mentioned those under 6 foot or even those at 6 feet tall. Didn’t think we were talking about really short folks, but granted, a lean 190 at 5’6" is pretty big. Not so much at 5’11".

Sorry, but 190lbs for a man of average height does not look huge when they are wearing regular clothing. It may look very good, I will not argue that, but it does not look huge. Its not all about how it looks on stage.

He has a nice physique but it is funny to watch him train. When he benches, his spotter’s hands are on the bar 100% of the time, and the bar only moves no more than 4 inches up and down lol.

No that’s not what I meant, i’m talking about lean (perhaps not stage ready) folks that weigh considerably over 190 who still look great when they take their shirt off. ‘Huge’ as a description does at some point have to entail taking up a larger amount of space, but it is possible to do this and be lean.

I would argue its about looking like you take up a lot of space. If you do or not doesn’t matter. It’s about illusions. There is a short guy in my gym and is pretty fucking lean. Looks really big. Then I stand next to him and I dwarf him in terms of frame. Our arms are the same size yet his look much much larger. You get the point. And yet I he is 170 and I am 215

This all seems like a lot to think about. The way I see it, is that you are either huge, or you are not. If you stand next to someone and realize you are actually bigger, then said person is not huge. I guess its a matter of opinion.

Strong bench.
I never said that you don’t look good (you clearly have a decent physique), but just because a few people say you are huge doesn’t make it so in the eyes of everyone else. Secondly, considering you have been trying to suggest you look huge in clothes, seems a bit odd to post a video where you are training shirtless.

DD. didn’t see much in the vid. Updated pics would be great I know your progress has been good. But don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back

Just the most recent video.

I actually think I look more muscular in a shirt now that I’m leaner.

What confuses the issue is the fitting of cloths. If you are a chubby/muscular 240 and you cut to 190 lean while wearing the same clothes, yeah, you look small wearing a tent. If you wear clothes that fit the same, you’ll still look big.

I’m wearing the same size jacket, only now they are having to take it in a bunch at the bottom.

I stopped paying attention to what normal people thought when they thought I used AAS when I was 190 lol
I know this sounds like bullshit, but I actually had a pro ask me what I did for my back. A lot of these comments come from competitors. My uncle (a pretty decent former competitor) was trying to get me to do a show even.
DoubleDuce wrote:

Fair enough.

Perhaps I am getting caught up in semantics, but when someone uses ‘huge’ as a description, not one person around the 190-210 mark ever comes to mind, and I would have thought this mindset would be the case on a site such as this.
