So now “large” is the same as muscular?
Question…who looks like Bauber does now by accident?
You’re just trying to argue semantics because you can’t come up with an adequate excuse. Please try harder. Now, we can both assume that I meant muscular. Don’t be silly. Also, we are no longer talking about “accidental” or not. We are discussing whether or not people can become either big or lean without much effort.
You keep trying to say that getting big is harder than getting lean. I provided reasons why that isn’t so. People who are lean have lifestyles that produce that. Sure, some can become lean relatively easy in comparison to others, but the same can be said of big guys. Bauber was an example.

You are claiming that Bauber (mind you, you are now speaking for someone else) was really muscular without ever training for it at all?
Being “bigger than most” does not mean REALLY REALLY MUSCULAR…which was the only point made.
No, NO ONE is going to get really muscular without ever training for it.
Yes, people are lean just because their genetics lead to less fat being carried naturally.

Just for the record for people that don’t know, this is Nate Robinson. Arguably at one point the most athletic person in the NBA and one of it’s most genetically gifted athletes ever. Not just your above average dude. Not even close. Also he does more than just push ups and play basketball to be in that shape.
I’m not denying that there are lean and in shape people out there who don’t lift. I see at them on my college campus at work every day. But this dude is not one of them.
Same as when you kept trying to tell everyone that he had to have bulked and I told you that he himself said he didn’t ever truly bulk in your sense of the word? So, like when you were speaking for him before? Yeah, funny, that. Also, I never have claimed that he was “really” muscular, just more muscular than most. For example, I could run the same exact shit as Bauber and train the exact same way and not look as jacked as him. He obviously has the genetics for it, making it easier on him than it might be on others. I’m not detracting from his accomplishments, but saying that others might have had harder times.

Once again, are you saying that BAUBER was really muscular without ever training for it. Yes or no?
Also, X, just so you can keep up: I was referring to Bauber before his current condition. I was trying to imply that the journey has been easier because he was already built for it naturally. Going from point A to point B was probably easier for him than it would be for someone like me.

The quoted picture of Nate Robinson didn’t show up so here’s another one.
I think what Ryan said earlier is completely on target: You have to compare lean AND somewhat muscular guys to big guys here, because being lean=/=skinny.

Yes but I still don’t think people without much muscle getting lean by accident or without much effort is really relevant.

It doesn’t matter if you think it is relevant. It was the response to another poster.
Why would you ignore the rest of my post? I suggested something to further a discussion.
People don’t get big AND lean with little to no effort. People in this forum are trying to get big AND lean.

Yes, people here do have that goal.
Thank you.
More on Nate Robinson, who is only 5’9". He is one of the more physically gifted people on the planet.
He seems to act like that isn’t what most are here for. Apparently, if you aren’t doing it the X way, you aren’t trying to get muscular. I know every time I step into the gym, my goal is to walk out smaller than when I got there.

Making it “easier” for him doesn’t mean it happened with minimal effort.
Most guys that big do work hard for several years to build that kind of size. No one on Earth is looking like that by accident or with minimal effort…or especially because THEY GOT BIG IN SPITE OF THEIR TRAINING.
That was the statement made.
No, they are not big IN SPITE OF their training.
The are big because they found what worked best for their genetics and worked hard at it.

What is the “X Way”?
You are typing a lot of posts on this forum but most don’t seem to add to the discussion other than statements like this.

Yeah I made that point earlier in the thread. NR is apparently a pretty serious lifter, on top of being a freak athlete.
Well, I was just going off of your past posts. This always happens with you. Anytime anyone states their opinion on something and it doesn’t agree with your beliefs, you have to argue with them for pages about it. Why can’t you just agree that it’s equally hard to get lean or get big. Or, if you can’t, just leave it be. You’ve said your peace and we all know how you feel about it by now. You’ve said this all before. Lastly, how many of your posts have been devoted to just talking about how bad my posts are at this point? Seems hypocritical.

I asked you what is the X way?
Well, you’re showing that it is to argue like a child over the most insignificant of minutia. Really, you’re just trying to fight at this point. I never said that it doesn’t take any effort to get big. Actually, what I said was that it takes just as much effort to get lean sometimes. You should stop trying so hard to fight with me. Relax.

You make statements that are not supported and seem to do much of your posting about me specifically, so please, inform me of what the X way is so that we can be clear on it.
That way we can avoid your interruptions in the future once it is cleared up.
I supported my statements in this thread with a number of examples. Examples that were just as adequate as anything you’ve come up with so far. Also, I really don’t post about you specifically as much as you seem to think. I, believe it or not, post in plenty of other threads that have nothing to do with you. Try and not get carried away.
Kudos on shifting attention away from you lack of ability to uphold your end of the discussion by attacking me though. Lastly, if you really think most on this board are more wary of me coming into a thread out of the two of us, you are in for a treat.
