Damn,… look at what Branch eats, and then explain to some 14 lb kid why he’s not eating enough to get huge -lol. I read his precontest diet a while back, and it’s probably a great bulking diet for most other folks.

Man, would be nice to see the diet of these guys too.

You’ve got a pretty good offseason pic there in your profile Stu!

Retired Haney.
And here’s a link to the thread with his complete workout series, a great training resource for anyone, even though nobody bothered to comment in the thread at the time. lol

it still looks great haha

No tribute to bulking is complete without Trevor Smith.

I personally prefer the look of the gym bodies to the stage bodies.
Size rules.

Hello Mr. Penis outline!
In all honesty I missed that the first time I panned by that picture, so thanks for that Way.

I missed it the first time, too. Why are you doing this to us, Waylander?

LOL I’m oh so happy I could help.
Yeah, they are much leaner than the general population even in the offseason. And look at those calves on Ronnie in the offseason!

Yeah bro, Haney’s always spoken of as one of the most decent people you could ever meet. Kinda cool when you think about how often you hear how whiney and bitchy most pro BBers are.
(and thanks,… I miss the ‘offseason’ Stu myself -lol)

I think that’s Joel Stubbs?
That dude is fuckin’ serious!
I think he’s 6’4’’ 6’5’’ or something.
Too bad he can’t train his legs the way he wants to, but his back is absolutely incredible

She went to my college!! When I would see her in the gym she was bigger and pushing more weight than most of the guys.
Funny story, they have an amateur bodybuilding competition at the college and most of the girls that do it are more figure than anything, when she did it, she was bigger than most of the dudes competing.
Dudes what the fuck happened to Jay in that picture? Dude just looked chub. Dorian was fucking beast! Pics of him are pretty rare in the off-season he would just hide out at Temple throught the off season. Trey wasted that bulk. The House is a fucking beast! One of my favorites.
those pics of heath were of him a few weeks out from last years iron man or last years arnold i forgot which. He is much thicker in his ‘off season’.
I know many will debate over this but Trey Brewer getting soo fat in the off season didn’t do him any good. It could be that his pre contest diet coming down from 330 is what f*cked him but either way I still think he looked better when he won the excalibur. He definitely needs to go back to what he did then this next year and he will be a pro here shortly.
I am also glad that many bodybuilders aren’t getting obese in the off season anymore. For a while there it seemed like people would get rediculous and then trim down. I dont believe that anybody needs to be more than 25 or so lbs over what they plan on competing at. I believe getting too ‘fat’ in the off season leads to more muscle loss while dieting down. Its not a matter of weight so much as bf% if your climbing numbers above 20% your too fat…
