Ah that’s right. I believe I remember reading that people who are extremely allergic to things like bee stings (where just one sting can kill them) are allowed to carry an epi pen.
Yeah, good friend of mine always has one on him, I’ve seen him use it once when he was stung by a bee. It could potentially be hidden very easy at a meet…not saying they necessarily do it, but it’s possible, for sure.
The Zane picture needs to be thrown all over these forums for all the kids that think “ya like, I think Frank Zane’s body is ideal to me so I only need to gain like 5 more lbs.” Not that he got unbelievably huge or anything, but clearly he was a pretty well built man when he wasn’t in contest shape.

I love pic’s of bodybuilders in the offseason. Screw that clean bulk crap check out these clips of how Evan Centopani eats in the off season, everytime I see this I want to go have a Big steak and hit the weights HARD. He really blows up in the offseason but when its contest time his conditioning is always spot on. I can see him as a real threat in the olympia in years to come hes only 26 right now and just look at him HUGE.

centopani is the shit. love that guy. thanks for the vids
Holy shit, that’s the biggest Gary Coleman look-a-like I’ve ever seen!
Good additions, Simonidas. And mr popular - thanks for bumping this thread every couple months with some good additions. This is one of the best threads on these boards.
Things like this are why I hate dieting before I add more size. This guy doesn’t even do that well at contests (he beats anyone on this site usually) and he gets to a relatively lean 315lbs in the off season to compete at over 240.

New pro Cedric M in the offseason after some help from Dante/DC on his “weak” body parts. He’s as impressive as they come and has unlimited potential.
edit: Oh… Cedric is on the left and that weak bodypart would be arms lol
For those who don’t frequent the DC board, here’s Cedric’s “Before” shot… the progress is unreal!

Yeah I really like his physique, nice lines. had no idea he did some work with Dante. Cool stuff
I’ve been training consistently for 20+ years. Worked in gyms since I was 16. I have seen the biggest names in the game train (during their prime) including Troy Z., Shawn R., Boyer C., Sandy Riddell, Mary Roberts, Sue Gafner etc. One thing I have learned through maturation is this: The overall majority of the population appreciates a lean muscular physique over a smooth huge physique. Don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate a huge mass freak just as I enjoy looking at a midget in the circus, a 8 foot tall man, Siamese Twins or any oddity of nature. It’s entertaining, I get it.
Generally speaking the only people who like fat bulky bodies are other fat bulky bodied people. To each his own…not fair to criticize one for another. But deep down inside the majority of people who lift secretly want to impress other people. Smooth 18" arms with love handles will NEVER trump lean 16" arms and a six-pack. Fat dudes will hate that I said it, but to 99.9% of the population they will agree. And keep in mind there is also .1% of the population who thinks the 350lb booty mama is hotter than a ripped fitness model. To each their own but I can say this based on experience, leaner physiques are more appealing to the overwhelming masses…take it from a guy who has been there and done that.
