Little known facts about Sergio: he began as an olympic weightlifter, and starred in a few mexican wrestling films as “El Poder Negro” (Black Power).
Oh hell yeah,… Yes, the tiny waist gave the appearance of being bigger, but even in comparison shots with Arnold, he more than held his own. The only numbers I truly believe are those of Zane’s being only 17" (which in contest shape, is more impressive than it sounds), and Mentzer, who during a seminar, replied to a comment about his arms being “at least 20 inches”, by stating that they were only 18 3/4".

lol that arm sticking out on the left there looks like Ronnie’s.
I love pic’s of bodybuilders in the offseason. Screw that clean bulk crap check out these clips of how Evan Centopani eats in the off season, everytime I see this I want to go have a Big steak and hit the weights HARD. He really blows up in the offseason but when its contest time his conditioning is always spot on. I can see him as a real threat in the olympia in years to come hes only 26 right now and just look at him HUGE.

Really liked these vids. IMO, his diet (based on these vids) is still remarkably clean. He talks about eating donuts or junk food if he’s craving it, but everything he made was pretty clean (grilled chicken breast, steak, baked yams, broccoli raab, mashed potatoes, etc.
Seems like a really good guy. I liked how he made his younger sister do a few mandatory poses for the camera in the 3rd video (4 minute mark).
I particularly enjoyed his quote on not drinking diet sodas: “All I know is fat people drink diet soda, 'cause everyone I ever see drinking diet soda is fat.”
it’s funny that you post evan’s off=season diet because he’s altered it recently opting to stay lean in the off-season.
he’s a beast though and he built his foundations through big eating and hard work, now he’s after slow quality gains and refinement. his fish market vid is excellent.

Agreed. That’s the proper approach when you are already huge. What we end up getting here though are tons of guys who haven’t built the size yet but want to skip to the end of the book before they even open it.
Evan was not that lean during the majority of the time he was building all of that size.

I guess I’m confused as to what the hell a “clean bulk” is. All of those food choices look pretty damn clean to me.

Most people confuse a “clean” bulk with a “lean” bulk. A lean bulk is the erroneous belief that you can put on appreciable size while still maintaining your “hawt” abs and contest definition. A “clean” bulk is when you bulk eating what are considered traditional bodybuilding foods (fish, chicken, beef, veggies, good carbs, etc.) with an occasional “bad” meal or two thrown in (BK, Mickey D’s, etc.) to keep your sanity.
Dusty Hanshaw(and hot wife Ev), 5’10.5 and in the 300 lb range in that picture.
This is what he posted as his offseason diet
This thread delivers…
As an aside, how on god’s green can anyone eat that much chicken? I would have to switch it for fish or beef… I can’t stand chicken as it is, let alone 2-3 pounds a day…
wow, good for him.

Heard strawberry soda puts on 40 lbs of muscle mass in 10 days!
On a serious note, his fat intake seems a little low, unless he’s eating dark meat and/or excluding his use of oils to cook/marinate. But I guess it’s really more about the protein + total calories.
I think its key to find a way to prepare your food so you can eat alot of it…
when i first started, i hated eating chicken…but i hated it because i was eating it plain and cooked in an oven…it tasted bland and rubbery…
I found that if I put some seasoning(i like montreal chicken seasoning) and cooked it on the grill or in a pan with some olive oil spray…I actually enjoyed eating it…I also found i could eat more chicken if i ate it with some carbs as well like mashed potatoes…

In the end, you eat in whatever way allows you to grow the most. There is no way in hell I could eat enough chicken to match what I get from beef.

He answered that very question…
Dusty is a cool guy, very humble and is looking damn big and freaky at 18 or whatever weeks out from USAs this year.
