I been on diet and been down 40-50 pounds at this momment but my Oblique is still popping out and fat on side. How long does it take and is it possible it will go away im at 250 now 6”2 ft 34 years old.
Yep just keep dieting down. That fat will come off. It just takes time and strict table discipline. With time and discipline, you can do a lot.
well done on losing 50lbs.
Looks like you’ve got another 30+ to go, IMO.
Mine stuck out for a LONG time and I was always really insecure about it. I stuck to the plan and then one day they just kind of went away… now I’m wanting to walk around with my shirt off everywhere I go.
You’ll get there too, just stick with it.
At 250lbs at 6’2, are you sure this is an obliques issue vs a love handle issue?
In the case of the latter, you may find this an interesting read
I was going to say this too, but I decided to be nice.
OPs obliques are still safely tucked under those love handles ![]()
Sorry it could be love handles but if it is love handles how to get them away based on the pics that u guys see
… how did you lose 50lbs in the first place?
Do more of that until love handle shaped obliques become obliques.
Yea common bro sense but them things just keep poking out huge and sharp . Makes u lose hope
So give up and go back to being fat.
Is that the response you’re looking for?
Did you read the linked article @T3hPwnisher gave you?
I got pretty big at one point (275lbs at 6’4”) and found that through the process of leaning out, there were phases where I felt I looked fatter than before. This wasn’t true, it just appeared true based on seeing myself every day (perception) and how my body lost the fat.
Keep chugging on. Drop to 200lbs and you won’t see them anymore.
Deff 100% can relate to the feeling and looking fatter than before way…… big issue mentally dealing with that
When i lose weight, it comes off my arms, shoulders first and then eventually my stomach area, so can also say i feel/ look a bit fatter after losing a bit of weight before you see the end results.
Bottom line is, stick with the process and continue losing weight.
