i have a question. im trying to get ready for a show. my question is this . i have the 6 pack nd what looks like, fingers which i think are my seratus muscles, im not sure, how do i get the intercostal muscles to devlop and complete what is called the working 6 pack. i do side bends woodchops , russian twists. just to start. what am i doing wrong.
is the load progressing? If you aren’t adding or changing something each or nearly each workout, why would you hypertrophy? My abs, despite all my efforts, really started to develop when I started doing havy deadlifts.
You definitely need to add load! Unfortunately though, you’ll never see your intercostals, they’re too deep. Serratus, rectus abdominis and external oblique is what you have to work on.
