When would the boundary be crossed where legally the white guy is now in trouble for seriously harming someone who attacked him because he was unable to control his actions in his anger?

When he is no longer in immediate and obvious danger.
Any competent defense attorney will be able to spin this into showing the white guy using “excessive” force and shit.

No, i’m loling too.
If whitey had a permit to carry a fire arm, would he have been allowed to draw it under those circumstances?
hahaha holy shit Talon. The Everest one is the best.
those pics are great lol.
The black guy called the white guys niggers too. Then proceeded to get his ass handed to him. The white guy was flirting with crossing the line, but a major point for him is when he got up, he just walked away. Didn’t kick him while he was down. Didn’t get one more shot in for good measure. The black guy started it and the white guy ended it. None of the friends jumped in. All and all I think the black guy should take it as a lesson learned and move on.
FYI for the people in this thread, there is a difference between the word “nigga” and “nigger”. Calling someone a nigga is equivalent to calling someone a chump, guy, friend, ass, buddy, and a few others. It does not necessarily mean something racist. In todays culture a lot of people on both sides think of it as racist but it indeed is not.

As said before, your right. If you are mad enough to fight, it’s tough to just flip that switch off. The adrenaline that is in your system can drive you into a rage. You will say and do things you won’t remember. You operate in a fog and knowing when to quit, or stopping when someone tells you to quit, can be hard.
I would also say that if the dude was seriously injured, the white guy’s defense attorney would never want to have the jury see that video. Never.
Isn’t watching a street fight a crime? Are these camera men being pursued legally?
Absent a weird statute in a specific state I’m not aware of, just passively watching, no. Aiding, encouraging, or instigating can get you into trouble however.

True. They would be an accessory to the crime. And they would also be on possession of evidence, which 99% of the time they delete, then then get charged with destruction of evidence.
Interesting, so is yelling “fuck him up” at the start of the altercation instigating?
So if you Joe Camera man deletes the video right after the fight he is destroying evidence or does there have to be an ongoing investigation?
Just Curious, since I watch the monthly world star fights comps. They’re funny, but expose the gritty underbelly of human nature.

Most likely yes, that would be at least evidence of encouragement.
-
Most likely yes, it would turn on if Joe Cameraman knew or appreciated that there might be a criminal or civil proceeding likely in the future and deleted it anyway and Joe Cameraman’s state of mind when he deleted it. Intentionally destroying evidence is obstruction of justice.

Thanks for the info!

In the USA? It really depends on the state.
A punch is considered “serious bodily harm” in some states and warrants lethal force. Punches can kill, and break bones don’t forget that.

If someone deleted the video right after the fight, how would anyone know/prove it exsisted?
The same way you prove that any other crime has been committed, i.e., through direct and circumstantial evidence, i.e., witnesses, confessions, forensic evidence, etc.
On a related note, next month the U.S. Supreme Court will be taking up the issue of whether police can search the phone of an arrested suspect without a warrant.

What states would it be cool with?
And of course in the USA, no weapons are allowed here!

Is there protection for the white guy considering that his state of mind is not going to be conducive to him knowing when to stop? It seems ridiculous that the law expects someone who’s been aggravated and assaulted to be able to pause, think “Ok, enough now”, and stop. That’s the ideal situation, but how likely is it to happen? And how is punishing someone for an act that happened when they unwillingly lost control of their actions supposed to discourage them from acting the same way again a similar situation?
To keep with the spirit of thread, black guy’s an ass

Correct.
I keep waiting for someone to mention this; the guy looks into the camera and proclaims, “I’m from New York!”. Does anybody else find this amusing? Are people from New York inherently badass? If I ever find myself nearing a physical confrontation, should I ask where the other party is from?
Fight went on for too long. You’re no longer defending yourself when you’re mounted on a face down attacker who is unconcious and you are still beating his ass. Whitey went too far and needs to answer for his actions.
Getting involved in these types of situations is not going to benefit you in any way. I don’t get into anything unless children or the elderly are being victimized. Just be a good witness and inform the police.

Yes, I found that stupid also. “I’m from New York” Who gives a shit, Dude?
If the black guy, let’s call him DJ Gotknockedthefuckout would have been claiming a street or a hood (still stupid), that would be different.
