Is it possible to be on a very low carb diet and still gain muscle? I try to keep my protein high. By doing this I’ve been able to lose 21 lbs and 3" off my waist since the New Year. According to Dr. Susan M Kleiner author of “Power Eating”, you have to get most of your calories from carbs while bodybuilding. I’m 62 years old, been lifting for 42 years but fat has taken over my body. Thanks for your help.
