I’m thinking of developing a nutrition software. Now before you go and say there is a lot of software out there, I know. I’m doing this for my own pleasure, and maybe a little financial gain, hopefully, will see how good it is.
So what would you look for in a software to track your caloric intake?
I’ll start…
Can set up daily menu complete with caloric tracking (carbs, protein, and fat intake), complete a weeks worth of planning and print up a grocery list of items you need. Also be able to print up the weeks menu for reference.
The ability to generate 1 menu for multiple family members without having to re-create the menu for each member.
Low cost but good quality software and is easy to use.
Save past weekly menus so that you can easily bring them up at a later date.
Ability to import recipes and count it’s calorie content and use the recipes during menu planning.
Did I miss anything? I’m sure I did. Any input is appreciated. It’s a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while now.
Thanks
