So I injured my lower back a little over a year ago. Have been dealing with a recurring pilonidal sinus that has required multiple surgeries so since then I have been not been able to lift lower body. Anyways I went to a pt and did all this stuff, he said hips were out of alignment and I did his rehab protocol for 8 months. There has been tightness ever since the injury which has slowly gotten less severe. If you need any more info I can refer you to prior threads of mine, this is just some background.
So heres the weird thing. Midway up my lumbar spine theres a little pimple thing. Except its been there for at least a few weeks and before then I might not have noticed. I tried popping it and realized the area immediately under it on my spine feels like a numbing sensation when I touch it. No pain, actually theres never really been pain there. I remembered feeling this sensation awhile ago (but still after the injury) and thinking nothing of it. Could this just be nothing? The numbness doesn’t travel, theres no pain, just a weird numbing sensation the size of a penny in that area. Am I just overthinking this (have the tendency to do that)?
