Are you serious, are we watching the same video? The kid is BOUNCING off the milk crate. You’re supposed to sit on the box, relax your hip flexors, and then explode off the box. Wendler advises newbies to sit on the box for 2 seconds so they can learn what it feels like to “deactivate” the hip flexors.
