Noob - I Will Make You Big and Lean

Zram,

I would really like to work with you to make me bigger and help me turn some heads. I am really motivated to start working out. I’m 29 years old but that has only made me more motivated. I realize how short life is and want to get in the best shape of my life. I have been athletic my whole life which is how I’ve stayed in somewhat average shape. I’m looking to get a lot bigger and defined, someone guiding me along would really help. Hopefully, one day, I’d be able to return the favor. I’m currently in the Navy but won’t be deployed for awhile if at all. If I am deployed, I would still be able to work with you. I’m single so I have time and money to devote to whatever regimen you set me on. Looking forward to this opportunity and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I think i match your criteria pretty decently. I’m 178 pounds at 6’2" and turning 19 in a month. This does sound very interesting and seems like one hell of an opportunity.

But i would like to know how strict you expect one to be while coached, since i wouldn’t want to waste your time. I know for a fact, that i’ll have two weeks this summer, where i’ll be getting hammered and not training, and i also know that i will go out drinking about once or twice a month. If that isn’t a problem, then i will sign up. If it is, then good luck to you and your trainee.

Hi I just wanted to say (no homo despite that screenshot Steely posted - lol) you guys, Julien, Stu, Cephalic and others now departed (I’d also include Meadows, CT and Skip in the same category) are just some lovely guys. Obviously you have achieved great personal success, but have stayed humble and supportive of the next guy. You set a great example. Answer questions constructively (even when they are painfully naive/misguided). You use this FORUM in the true sense of the word, to promote discussion and encourage excellence from a position of high achievement and confidence. Just some MEN and deserve respect. Respect!

Contrast this with individuals who seem to lack esteem and so use sarcasm, spite, contempt directed at the youngsters in this as a way to ‘big themselves up’, not answering questions positively (/ignoring them if they’re really stupid questions) but rather responding negatively in cryptic, or simplistic criticisms of ‘the wrong way’…not naming names but if this is you, you could learn from these accomplished guys with CLASS

I’m a lurker, made a profile to be a part of this, would prefer to PM my information but can’t seem to send any…
Keep in mind that while I can pick whoever I want my goal is to get everyone here to vote for who should be picked so posting it via pm doesnt give you much chances… The training itself will also be public so…

I dont expect anyone to make this the only thing they do in life. I used to go out quite often, its something you can work around

Im just saying Julian why not just offer a local kid at your gym you see working out consistently, as in has been going there at least 5 times and looks like he wants it pretty bad.

Might be a better way to control more of the variables, especially with a newbie.
What makes you think I never did this before?

 thanks for your kind words

I don’t know if I would be any good for this. Getting foods at the moment is very hard (hence the thread I originally made). Until I get a job. I am trying my best, Love going to the gym, train around 5 times a week at the moment.

However, My gym is a shit hole. Enough plates to use (and barbells), but very few dumbbell’s and machines. (Lying leg curl machine, weird multi-station and a fixed pulley station, which can be used for pull downs, press downs etc. And the bottom pulley for seated rows and machine curls). So training me would be harder than most people. I can’t go up in steady increments using dumbbells, as we only have a few decent dumbbells.

The only dumbbells I use at my gym are the ones where the plates aren’t to big (effects your ROM). As in we have heavier dumbbells, but someone made them by putting bigger plates on (15-20kg a side).

The dumbbells at the gym that are available to use are:
2.5kg
6kg
7kg
10kg
12.5kgish
30lb (awkward dumbbell).
20kg
25kg (one handles longer than the other. Awkward to use)!
27.5kg
30kg(says its 30, but It seems much heavier).
42.5kg-45kg(says its 42.5kg but with the collars they made it is around 45kg).

I’m not signing up to a new gym until my membership expires. So if training me is too difficult, that’s fine. I appreciate you taking the time to read this anyway. Best throw a few pictures up ehhh.

I don’t know how to put more than one on so yeah. Got a few to do I guess.
My posing is shit, I know.

My legs are a weak point.

Need long johns for those cold leg days!

the recluse has a ton of potential

I’m already biased towards jtownlax because I know the kid decently well

Not that I DON’T want Recluse to get to train with Zraw, because he’s extremely polite and seems to have his head on straight… But I feel you’re kind of on your way man. You seem to making great progress already, while Zraw may be looking for someone to basically start from the bottom up with kind of. I could be wrong though.

Thanks man, I understand that. But my diet is terrible and my training could always be improved and I would love to see what my potential is. I would love the guidance from you more experienced guys. I will put the time in, I love training.

I feel my noob gains may have stopped but because I have never had enough nutrients to really grow, I feel with the right people in my corner I could make so much more gains and really improve my physique to it’s best.

I’m 170-175lb at the moment. I really appreciate the opportunity anyway, thanks for the votes.

Just some more background info here.

As i said I am 15 years old turning 16 in may. Training for about a year. I feel like i have just got my feet wet with training because i do plan on lifting being a lifelong hobby. My parents buy me the food i ask for but i have to buy for supps ( protein, creatine, fish oil). I don’t really have any time restrictions especially since summers coming up. I really look foreword to having an opportunity to be coached by Zraw if i get chosen.

Thought i should provide ab shots if that makes any difference… After eating a “big” meal. Usually more visible.
