Yea, was 160 when I started, now at 220. Had some muscle memory from playing hockey in higschool, (never lifted, just plyometrics) but most if it is new gains. Put up a progress pic spanning the six months.

I think this is a great idea but in your original post you say the thread will be open to input from others but wont this confuse the issue somewhat if people come in with advice that you dont sanction?

Im just saying Julian why not just offer a local kid at your gym you see working out consistently, as in has been going there at least 5 times and looks like he wants it pretty bad.
Might be a better way to control more of the variables, especially with a newbie.

Such is life.

From 2 months ago. Weight is about 175 in the pics. Continued to lean out since then. I can see my top 2 abs now and almost all of them when i flex. Height is 5 ft 10 inches.

Been training for about a year and maybe some months but nothing too serious . Just did it for basketball . Always felt like i was doing something wrong or not headin the right direction. Usually just trained with a few friends and didn’t really have a set routine. Recently i’ve read more on these boards and noticed that the guys here a lot of bigger and been using some of the tips giving here to make my own routine but i still feel that i need some direction…
I weigh 165 not sure what my bodyfat is. You guys can be the judge. I’m 5,11-6ft.
My lifts are 5 x 155 on bench(could probably do more) , 5 x 225 on back squat(a2g) , and i don’t do deadlifts since they bother my lowerback.
I’m capable of controlling my diet and don’t rely on my parents when it comes to food. I’m able to train frequently and i recently signed up to a more serious gym called Powerhouse.I’m a really hard worker and i really want to start makin some progress… Also forgot to mention im 20 years old lol.
