No Upside to Getting Old

I will be 75 nov. 14 2022. I have been training since I was 14. Still at it. You can see me on YouTube at wishbone103. There is nothing special about me other then I have been consistent at training my whole life. If your young that is the time to create the body you want. As you age and pass 50 for example your joints, tendons and cartilage are going to start to go down hill. Your muscles can’t be any stronger then your tendons can support. Heavy lifting for the most part is going to become a thing of the past. But you can learn how to compensate and preserve all the muscle you have gained through the years. I strictly train for the pump these days not for size. But then size has never really been my thing.
I have always believed in maintaining an ideal body weight according to health and fitness. When I got out of the Army at age 20 I weighed 149lbs. today I weigh 149 lbs. My preferred weight is 154. I still wear 30 x 30 jeans. I am still muscular with a body fat that is around 8%. I am an average guy with above average self discipline. Anyone can develp that by being consistant in their training and being flexible with it when needed.

Sarcopenia has beat me down over the years. But I keep plugging away.
