Literaly. Hi Liftees, I’m 1 and a half years into training, if not more. And I have too say, I’m not breaking a sweat! I’m growing, diet’s a bit poor whilst monies are tight. I just started a Strength and Mass workout, I’ve tried to find the article on here, but can’t.
Anyhow Monday Heavy upper body, Tuesday Light lower and abs, Wednesday Off, Thursday Light upper and Friday Heavy lower and Abs. Saturday/Sunday off. I’ve done 1 full week and up to today, Thursday, has been done.
I realised in the tub this afternoon, that although I’ve been training a while, I don’t drip with sweat! I get to the end of my reps in a set and struggle to finish, it hurts, but I do it.
My joints seem to be sore, more than muscle, doing Squats, my knees hurt and give, but I wouldn’t say I couldn’t lift the weight. I train at home, with a bench and free weights, I do a variety of Compound Heavy and Isometric Light. Shouldn’t I sweat?

I don’t sweat unless I’m doing high reps and/or a number of exercises close together with little rest between. But I don’t sweat on my max sets.
Sweating is a highly individualistic response. You have to gauge it from personal experience.
On a side note, most people grossly overestimate the cardiovascular effort in lifting. Train with a heart monitor some time and you’ll see what I mean.
