That is so awesome that you found someone at your gym that can help you along. That experienced advice can be invaluable.
About being nervous - I had a coach tell me that if you’re not a little nervous then you don’t really care. I’m sure that’s not true for everyone, but it certainly is for me. This even is somthing you have been working months for. I think it is natural to be a little nervous, especially for your first competition.
Your workouts look brutal…and you’re pretty damn strong for your size! Impressive that you set so many PRs while sick…funny how things like that happen. Feel better!
Aww Dixie, always knows how to make a pale, sick girl blush.
And uhm, no Playoffs for me. I played my new game, Darksiders!!!
Finally finished GOW Trilogy. Totally wicked.
Hi LS, and definitely, all the competitors are a major help for me. Pushing me when I need it, stroking my ego… I like my ego stroked
That’s a good way to look at it, I guess since BB is something that I always wanted to do (just thought I couldn’t), that it’s okay to be nervous.
Eh Nadia, I got a little rest. Luckily I’m feeling a little better, still sneezing and sniffling, but I can smell again!
Oh the stairmill with ankle weights… I wanted to die. But doing cardio always makes me feel accomplished in the end so it’s worth it.
Thanks beastin. That strong for my size thing is awfully sweet lol
Ugh, when does this log die already?
Got a workout that’ll be a great first post for the new one ;D
Somehow I missed that you’ve switched from figure to BB, Hell yeah that’s hardcore! You cook AND play video games? Haha, that’s pretty cool. Here’s a song I’d like to do for my next routine, not sure if this is quite your style:
I’d like to play devil’s advocate and say that May 28 is plenty of time for you to bring your best package to the stage.
@MIM, I was curious as to why the camera was all over the place in the video you posted; I scrolled down a bit and that explained it all!
