Well, yesterday was a cheat… day?
I mean, I had breakfast (oatmeal, 1 egg, 2 egg whites… I hate eggs), didn’t eat for HOURS!, had 2 slices of homemade wheat bread with PB and honey, 1 cream cheese and cinnamon muffin, chinese food (orange chicken, pork fried rice, fried dumplings, fried wontons, egg roll), Reese’s ice cream bar thingie, and Chex mix.
…It was AWESOME! ![]()
Today was good. I got in a short workout because workouts keep my eats on track for the day.
My workout was, let’s see:
A1) DB Curl
A2) Tricep Pressdowns
A3) Crunches
A4) Cardio (1 minute cardio)
20 x 12, 25 x 12, 20 crunches
30 x 10, 35 x 10, 20 crunches
35 x 8, 35 x 10, 20 crunches (did this for 2 sets)
B1) Preacher Curl
B2) Bench Dips
B3) Vertical Bench Leg Raises
B4) Cardio
55 x 8, BW +45 x 12, 15
55 x 8, BW +80 x 10, 15 (did this for 3 sets total)
And that was that. Arms are pumped.

Today was an at-home leg workout, with calves done in between.
Ugh, I can’t wait to start my new split manana.
Meanwhile, I’m sure I’ll get some nice numbers so it was worth it. I never curled 35# before so I have high expectations for tomorrow.
I did low-carb today, and my energy isn’t low, but thinking of the homemade bread my grandfather made for me that’s just sitting on the counter and not in my stomach isn’t making me happy ;D

I decided last minute to do low-carb again today, so today’s workout was shit!
I should be happy, I got a rep PR on the incline bench. But today was just aggravating.
My new split started off with chest and arms.
Incline Bench
65 x 12
95 x 8 Rep PR
95 x 6
85 x 6
Decline Bench
95 x 11
105 x 9 - Bar fell right on my boob. Motherfuckers just stood around and didn’t help, but I got it up anyway. I proceeded to write spanish profanities about them in my book because my poor C boobies were injured ;(

I was going to do the Pec Deck, but some New Year bozos were hanging around there, yelled out “HEY!” to me, I ignored them and they proceeded to talk shit because their egos were hurt. Something about going Mike Tyson on me?
Oh please. Meanwhile, I can’t respond back nastily because that’s not very professional.
So I gave up on chest, my ego was a bit hurt as well from the no-carb shit numbers I was putting up, so I switched to arms.
Did BB curls, OH Tricep Extensions, Cable rope curls, V-Bar Pressdown, Single arm Reverse grip pressdown.
Tried to do a complex but I had no energy. Did planks and stomach vacuums because my midsection is getting too thick for my liking (I’m not giving up my squats and DLs though lol) so I’m stopping with the weighted ab work.
Alright, that’s my day. And tomorrow will be a good day, because I will have bread.
All you have to do is make it through 2 weeks, possibly a month of a busy period in the gym, then the new year resolution crowd will be caught up in their normal lives again and realize it is easier to play xbox than get their fat smelly arses to the gym and do something about how shitty they feel.
