Thanks Maschy. And I do the same thing. I pull up a chair and just watch them, and imagine all the things that they must be saying. Then I end up yelling at one fish to leave another alone, like they can understand me, then go back to watching them swim about.

Cool aquarium. We have one. So far it seems to be working to desensitize my children to the reality of death. When the first two fish died, tigger and darth vader, there were tears and profound sadness, followed by a burial. The passing of the latest fish was without incident and they were cool with bluey taking a ride on the porcelain water slide.

Nikki, good stuff overall. While I was able to consume mass quantities yesterday, I think I more than burned that shit off last night. And I’m about to feel your pain with the low carb stuff. Have a tape test next week, so I have to restrict the carbz intake for a few days. I’m going to get cranky at some point.

I don’t go where the crazy people are though. I went to WalMart on Black Friday ONCE and it was crazy; one woman got trampled and died, then the guys who work there just threw out the electronics. It was a madhouse.

Nadia, dead fish has always been traumatizing in my household. My mom killed a few fish a while ago because she didn’t treat the tap water, so the chlorine killed them. Apparently their lungs burn. Then when I was cleaning the fish tank one time, one fish jumped in the garbage disposal in the sink :confused:
I don’t think we ever had fish that just died of natural causes haha, so nothing to be desensitized from ;D

What did you do Beast to burn off the food? My food is still sticking to me. My body is tucking away all the stuffing and cheesecake for a rainy day :stuck_out_tongue:
I don’t envy you. I’m going to cry when I have to eliminate carbs completely while doing depletion workouts.

Ok, today was a total bust with Black Friday. There were two checkout lines that wrapped around the store, and it’s not like the things I saw were worth it anyway. So I’m going shopping tomorrow. But, I’ll still get pics up in the morn.

I did my GPP training at home today. I really didn’t feel like doing anything, I was still a bit full, and the bloat was depressing :stuck_out_tongue:
But I have to rebound, so I did random stuff

Farmer’s Walk complex
I wore a 30 lb backpack and held 15# DBs
Walked 20 yards, did 10 DB Hang cleans, walked, did 10 DB Clean and Jerks, walked, 10 hang cleans, walked, 10 clean and jerks

Repeated that 3 times.

Then, wearing a 20 lb backpack, I did 10 push ups superset with 60 mountain climbers, or 30 each side.
Did that 3 times.

Then some abz.

And that’s it.

In other news, my wonderful mommy got me digital body fat calipers that finally came today, so I’ll use it for the first time tomorrow. In addition to… eh, I feel for posing vids tomorrow, so I’ll get on that.

Hmm, what else. Oh yeah, food. Well, Thanksgiving really put a damper on my spirits. I gotta get back to taking my supps too, after the holiday, my mentality’s sorta been “What’s the point?”
But I’m getting back on track. Tons of water (I had to turn down my Diet Dr. Pepper for like, 2 days now), and replacing the leftover stuffing and cranberry sauce with squash and beans :confused:

Although I did have some syrup with my oatmeal pancake after my workout today.
I was looking at the No-Sugar added apple butter like “You don’t stand a chance against Aunt Jemima” ;D

Still, eats are at 1273 calories:
41% carbs (140g)
36% protein (114g)
23% fat (33g)

I don’t know if I want to eat anything else, kinda full. Ugh, I’ll see.
