^ No I would not, biggest regret of my life was not trying to get to the next level in Football. I really think Favre understands this, I see it all the time in non-sport related fields. People who do not want to retire cause they just dont have the mentality to quit. Personally Favre cracks me up, but maybe it is a southern thing. [/quote]
I agree with what your saying, but that didn’t really address the question. If you had an almost impossible chance of making the playoffs (after a loss this weekend) why continue to play and continue to risk your body and quality of life? He doesn’t have anything more to prove, he has a ring, he’s one of the best ever, why sacrifice yourself?
Maybe he doesn’t have it in him, but he’s only going to continue to destroy his body, and his quality of life post-NFL.
Man how many teams are not going to make it this year and keep going out. I heard him in a interview, until all mathmatical chances are gone the guy is not going to quit. I have herniated three disks in my lower back that they wanted to do a fusion and make me three inches shorter. That doesnt stop me from DL and Squating heavy. Favre always struck me as the All or Nothing type (I can relate) he said he was going to play this year and he is going to play hell or high water.

No man its really cool for you to offer. My boss and owner for our company is out of Baton Rouge so the fucker has the hook up for LSU and Saints games. We are an occupational staffing company, so we have connections with a lot of big companies. I was moved up here to Houston to mirror what they are doing over there. So hopefully over the next few years I can get in with the CEO types with the Box Suites.

Networking and connections are what life is all about. Not in a sleazy, self centered manner, but being able to connect, work with, and maintain relationships with everyone is one of the best skills a person can have.
I’ll be in the owners suite this weekend for the 49ers game. Hopefully we can squeak out a win against the highly overrated Bucs. I think Gore will run for 120+.
^Do you really think the Bucs are over rated WC? I really hope you enjoy the atmosphere tomorrow in the owners suite cuz I don’t think you’re going to enjoy the game. Something about York doesn’t sit well w/me, be careful not to get to close.
Bucs win by 10…<<<<----- Trying to post like Beans.

The Bucs are 6-3, but their six wins have come against opponents with a combined record of 14-40. They are not a good football team.
Troy Smith will lead us to victory. The 49ers will win.
Buffalo +5.5 - Won’t win, but should cover against the Bungles
Houston +6.5 - God damn Jets have played damn near 10 quarters in the last two weeks, again a cover
Seattle +11.5 - I just can’t lay off 11.5 points, lol
Seymour just got ejected for giving Ben a little chin music . Looks like Ben chirped in his ear after a TD pass. Seymour’s walk off the field was great, it was more like a stroll lol.
After what the Pats did to Pittsburgh I gotta go with New England this week against the Colts…I would prefer if they both lost.
I am in no way a Steelers fan, but I have to say the refs in this game are terrible. All those hits on Cambell were legal. The NFL is turning into a joke with how much they protect the QB.

This is getting stupid now, that last call against Harrison was horrible. Roger Godell is ruining everything.

Who is doing the hitting seems to make a difference, which is bullshit.
