^ Cant agree more, the team around him has not stepped up like he has. In my head if you took Eli and put him in the same position that Rivers is currently playing at could he do the same thing? I just do not think Eli has that skill set, he is a good team player. He is not a leader by the way he carries himself on the field.
That is where we differ, I think he would. But like I said he is the one QB that I would have to think about as far as who is better. I no he was touted as one of the most overrated players in the NFL on that stupid list where TO was the most overrated but I actually think Eli is underrated.
Of course Eli would thrive in those offenses (charges, colts)
The giants offense is extremely simple and was just opened up this season. You cant take a guy in a defensive oriented-ball control-run first team and expect him to light it up whenever the team needs him to throw the ball 35 times, down 14 points. Some of those times the qb will succeed and sometimes not. Where as Peyton and Rivers are used to chucking the ball around because their offenses are built on the passing game.
Its not fair to compare quarter backs in markedly different offenses. You cant compare Joe Montana to Dan Marino for the same reasons. And no Im not saying Eli and Rivers are like montana and marino

Bigger Douchebag: Randy Moss or Brad Childress?
Childress, hands down.
x2 but Moss is a poker for sure.
Didn’t gamble all weekend.
Taking Pitt tonight is an all around ASSWHOPING!
I bet if you had put cash on that Browns pick you posted here you’d have made out.
I try to lay off the Giants and The Pats. Both have a special place in my heart. (I grew up right outside of upstate NY, so the Giants were a Fav as a youngin, and when I came out to Boston for college and stayed, the Pats won me over. My uncle was always a huge fan, so it was nice to connect with him on that.)
Anywho… Betting with your heart is dangerous, so I stay away from the Pats.

Bah!
Boo!
It’s funny my neighbor, 2 houses down is from ‘greater Philly’ (ie. Eagles/Phils/Flyers). We’re the two odd guys out on the block although he’s gone to the dark side on occasion wearing Pats paraphernalia. I give him no end of shit and he hangs his head in shame.
Now that I think about it, I’m going to go buy a Jets shirt.

What can I say, I lost the war of attrition that is Pat’s coverage, lol.
Sidenote: Life insurance is a morbid fucking thing to sign up for. Let me pay quarterly to make sure my wife and her new boyfriend can go on two Caribbean vacations a year after I’ve been mangled beyond recognition in a horrific 13 car pile up on 128…

Who would you take on your team to start a franchise?
McCoy
Bradford
Stafford

McCoy. His contract is much more reasonable than the other two and allows much greater flexibility for an organization. I think he also has a much bigger chip on his shoulder, and that is pretty much priceless.

d) none of the above.
Mark Sanchez. He has already proven that he can take us deep into the playoffs; we were a quarter away from the Super Bowl if you recall, until we were beat by Darth-Manning. While Stafford appears to have the best skills of the young QB’s, he also appears to be made of glass.

Bromosexuality gives me a broner.
I’ll bet he really loved it when he took him DEEP into the “playoffs”.
To be clear, I wasn’t hating. I heart the Sanchise. He’s got potential, is doing great for my team and call me shallow, but I put him on my fantasy team just cause he’s so dreamy.

Bradford - most accurate of the three, sure looks like he’s got “it” etc
Stafford - biggest cannon of the three, can make all the throws, looking kinda injury-prone
McCoy - no clue
And whoever brought up Sanchez, that was dumb. As a passer, that guy is very limited
I’d take bradford he’s making something out of nothing right now in St.Louis… i always have a penchant for qb’s that can win even with limited talent around them (outside of jackson st. louis doesn’t really have any huge names at WR or TE)
If we’re talking about made of glass that would be stafford… whenever the defense looks at him funny his shoulder goes out…

Are you a GM Chill? Maybe you haven’t seen enough of Sanchez. To say he’s limited in passing is wrong. Now if you had said accuracy, I might agree w/you. As for arm strength & making all the throws including the 20yd out, he can do.
Is he better than the 3 mentioned? May be a bit early to call that one. But what he did in the last 5mins of Sun. proves to me that he can close a game out. I think the other thing in asking this question is not whether they all have arms, but what kinda leader they are. Think about how many Qb’s in the league are jelly arms but they command the huddle and know how to win.
Let us not forget the system these guys play in too.
