What the Giants have is a defense and a hard nosed coach that can turn adversity. While I hate them with a passion, I respect that defense and the coach. Eli I dont, if the game is put into his hands to win against a good defense he will lose. That is just my opinion of course, but he has always had a great defense and running game to help his play. I pray you arent basing anyhting you said on a comparison to tony romo.
You dont watch enough games to form a valid opinion of the Giants. Unless you have directv with the sunday ticket?
Eli has improved every single year he’s been in the league. Still improving.
While Romo has had ridiculous weapons around him and shits the bed in a big spot like its his favorite hobby.
^ Bonez I have the sunday ticket I watch all the games, I have watched Eli play even before he was in the leaque and no I am not comparing him to Tony Romo. Believe me I am a Cowboys fan first, not a player fan. I dont have Romo or Ware hanging on my wall. In my opinion Eli has tapped out, look at his brother and Rivers, they have make shift WR and Tight ends and still make plays. Eli has had talent around him, when their defense has been sub-par and their running game has been sub-par Eli has not lifted them up.

I want whatever it is they are feeding the G-Men. Seriously, talk about turning it up. I thought they were done this season but they’re hot now!
i have to say this year the giants are playing in a much weaker division… the only team in their division that could challenge them would be the eagles… im not saying they would do much worse, they’d prolli have the same record just not blow out wins like they’ve been getting…
You do realize the Giants have only played 1 division opponent 1 time right? They have 5 division games coming up.
I agree with you about Eagles being the only contender in the division tho. I hope Skins try to play- in tired of seeing Giants rape us.
I’m very excited for next weeks MNF. An angry Vick is scary. I hope McNabb’s sitting in DC does the same thing it did for him in Philly
Up until recently its not like Rivers has fared well (with regards to wins and losses) w/o a running game which he has none. Yes he is putting up great fantasy stats, but there still 4-5
There are 2 different RedZone things, right? DirecTV and comcast? I have Comcast- is that what I want?
I’m still debating on getting it. My girl bartends at a sportsbar so it probably is not worth it since I go there regularly but it might be more fun to monitor all games on 1 screen
^ Cant agree more, the team around him has not stepped up like he has. In my head if you took Eli and put him in the same position that Rivers is currently playing at could he do the same thing? I just do not think Eli has that skill set, he is a good team player. He is not a leader by the way he carries himself on the field.

I have the DirecTV sunday ticket with the Redzone, I watch most if not all the games. Especially NFC east, like to scout the competition.

That is where we differ, I think he would. But like I said he is the one QB that I would have to think about as far as who is better. I no he was touted as one of the most overrated players in the NFL on that stupid list where TO was the most overrated but I actually think Eli is underrated.
^ When the Cowboys are bad or out of the playoffs, I still watch games. I am not a coach, but I listen to guys who are coaches and have tried to learn the game from another view point.
This is not one of those discussions where I could convince you or Bonez that I am right, I mean really that is kid fantasy beliefs. Just giving my opinion. Only time will tell.
With Regards to both, will be hard to argue in 10 years. Rivers will end up with better stats and maybe no hardware, while Eli will end up with the hardware. It will be a Dan Marino vs John Elway comparison
^ You were falling asleep again in the rocking chair old man, had to wake you up. Cowboy website was all fucked up, JJ putting out a media blackout while he fires Wade?
“There are a lot of people here who are certainly going to suffer and suffer consequences,” Jones said after the game. "I’m talking about within the team, players, coaches, who have got careers. This is certainly a setback. I know first hand what it is to have high expectations.
"Following the loss, Phillips would not confirm if he spoke to Jones wouldn’t get into specifics regarding his job status.
