NFL 2010 x 2

How can the Bungels go from being SB darlings to outhouse so fast? That team stayed pretty much intact. Outside of TO, who hasn’t been a distraction the team is the same.

I like Marvin, but his time is up. How about Marv to Dal.? He is a great def. coordinator.

^ I had thought about it, I dont know he didnt get it done in Cinci what makes me think he will get it done in Dallas. Maybe as a DC I would take him.

^They did win the div. last yr. Maybe get some young hot-shot OC to re-vamp the O & you may have something there. I don’t recall the cats name but the OC in GB, & though he is a bit old, WTF is wrong w/Marty Morenwhig (sp) from Philly?

Brownies are for real with McCoy back there. He’s everything they’ve been missing since the Real Browns moved to Maryland. Hillis is a beast as well. Reminds me of Alstott (because he’s big and white).

^ Scouting tendencies. If you dont self scout other teams will figure you out. That is one of the things I think Garrett doesnt do, OC’s get to predictable.

As a die hard UT fan McCoy has the intangibles that is for sure, however he needs years to develop. He can be a Brees clone if given the right circumstances (Holmgren), I worry about him getting damaged. But if they keep up the defense and running game should protect him. He is a good kid too, and wont fuck up getting in a fight at the strip club.

This thread is like the national media: still chattering incessantly about the Cowboys no matter how irrelevant they are at the moment.

LOL, just messin DJ. Smileys and all that stuff.

^ I really try not to bring it up, cause I agree they are irrelvant this year. However franchizes like the Cowboys and Steelers and Raiders for that matter will always bring national media attention.

^Win or lose the Cowboys will never be irrelevant. In fact the more they lose the brighter the light. I HATE the Raiders, but it’s good to see them & KC. bring a little piss & vinegar to that div.

^ Yea, now seems like the NFC east will have some down years. I do not think the Skins will rise to the top with McNabb, they will be rebuilding like the Cowboys will.

The AFC west could end up the hardest division right after the AFC east.

i thought KC and raiders would’ve taken longer to be in playoff discussions but it seems like they really got together as of late…

i don’t think cassel is the answer in KC tho…

Doesn’t matter that if Cassel is the answer or not. Quinn wasn’t the answer at ND & look what Weiss got out of him. As long as Weiss is OC, he’ll make Cassel look good. But I don’t want to overshadow what Romeo is doing either. He has them boys flyin’ around like bottle rockets. All of this to say that this makes Haley look good.

Channing Crowder DICK!

“I just got told not to talk about it, so I can’t talk about it. But Le’Ron McClain spit in my face. He spit in my face. That’s some real [two-letter word that rhymes with no] [expletive]. So if you talk to him, go tell him. He’s a [same two letter word]. And if he ever comes to Miami, he’s got to see me.”

Then they said something about they let Karlos Dansby(notes) get away with a face mask the play before. Who the [expletive] cares? A guy just spit in my face! I don’t give a damn about Karlos pulling somebody’s face mask. Like they didn’t see Chad Henne(notes) get hit twice when he slid. Yeah, a little Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank."

"Who was that? Is that the blind girl? Helen Keller … I don’t know who the [expletive] Anne Frank is. I’m mad right now. [Expletive] it. I’m not as swift as I usually am.

“That’s the first time I’ve ever been spit in my face in my life. And that’s the worst thing you can do to a man as another man, spit in somebody’s face. Why would you do that? Why would you try to? Because you’re scared of me? Really? Spit on me and then walk away real fast and let your team protect you? That’s what he did.”

Bonez makes a stop by, so I take it you are not a Jets but a Giants fan. You have to be feeling good right now, Giants look like the best team in the NFC.[/quote]

I think the Giants look good but they’ll get smoked in the playoffs with all the giveaways. Yesterday looked better though. Anyone who doesnt watch their games doesnt realize that 5 of Mannings interceptions are the result of a pass bouncing off his own receivers’ hands. Eli is locked in right now.

They got lucky facing Whitehurst and the Carolina rookie

The thing I like about the Giants right now is that they can play any style of football and win. The team is very balanced right now. Except for the special teams which is ranking deadlast in field position I think.

crowder definitely brings the lulz… dolphins make me cry tho…

What the Giants have is a defense and a hard nosed coach that can turn adversity. While I hate them with a passion, I respect that defense and the coach. Eli I dont, if the game is put into his hands to win against a good defense he will lose. That is just my opinion of course, but he has always had a great defense and running game to help his play.

Hillis has that true blue collar type personality that we love up here in the midwest too. I’m not completely sold on McCoy yet, but he has kept that spark going(with a hiccup in your stadium) that Seneca gave us before he went down injured. The defense stepping their game up has clearly spearheaded these 2 upsets though, and after years of getting absolutely gashed it’s so good to see that(and somewhat unexplainable, we’re still just as injured and not as talented as ever?).

^ Coaching is why.

Blackman looked a shit ton better than Reynaud, which will help that area. If you look at their skill positions on Offense, I really dont think there is a more complete set of offensive players in the whole NFL, Bradshaw is an elite RB, has an ability to make something out of nothing and has improved on defending the blitz. Jacobs is at a stage in his career where 10 carries a game is where he should be to keep him fresh. Nicks is a beast, Smith is a great route runner and steady and Mannigham is a speedster. They dont use ther TE as pass catchers but if they did Boss would average 50 catches and 5 - 7 tds. There O-line while getting there in age is still very good.

Last but not least, what bonez says is on point about Eli, I would say %75 of his INTs were not his fault. Now hes no Peyton, but I would take him over many qb’s in the league most notably Big Ben, Palmer, Romo and possibly RIvers.

This is coming from a Jet fan

^ Man Rivers is putting up numbers with bozo the clown off the street. I agree on Palmer (over rated), Romo still unsure about Big Ben he does have more rings.
