Watch Meri’s arms after the hit, and Harri’s arms after the hit. They do the same things.

Look the only difference between the way the two went about their hits were a) the receiver was in the air & b) Mari didn’t hit him with a shoulder pad.

Both lead with their head, both took a cheap dirty shot, both should be suspended, and I wish both were on my team.
OK, I see your point about leading with the head after watching what you consider leading with the shoulder on the Fletcher hit. When I said Harrison lead with his shoulder I meant that he hit him with his shoulder and not his helmet.

If that hit is dirty then I guess I just think football should be played dirty. I remember when stuff like this was just called clean hard football. Hell, that’s how I was taught to hit! Face up, drive your helmet through the numbers. Sometimes you miss and hit the guy high. The game moves fast, shit happens.

You might think I’m a homer since I’m defending a Steeler, but I also think the hit on DeSean Jackson was clean. I can’t think of any times a Steelers receiver got lit up like that. If it did happen, I can guarantee you that A) I wouldn’t like it, but also B) I sure as hell wouldn’t be calling it dirty.

Yeah, junior seau drove off a cliff. pretty fucked up. i think it has to do with that report about the protein buildup in the brain after big hits a la Chris Henry and Benoit and that other dude who died recently…sad stuff really.

I agree with pretty much every thing you said here. except I think harrison was head hunting, and that is what I consider dirty… But anywho…

I agree with the hit on Jackson. I think the corner was trying to turn and hit him with his shoulder, but the play just happened too fast and he didn’t set up in time.

I always was a bit of a anomoly. Born and Raised in Queens but grew up a yankee fan. For much of my life I grew up right around Shea. Im also a Jet fan, but I root for the Giants too. I hate the Dolphins and Pats so much more than the Giants…we only play’em every 4 years, thats when I realized I was more of a Jet fan…much more.
thats funny cuz i hate the jets and pats… jets more so than the pats tho… the season i started hating the jets was the game where miami had a 23 pt lead and the jets came back to win the game…

The funniest thing is i don’t hate any player or coach on the team its just the fact that the jets seem to always bring either the best or the worst out of the dolphins…

No hard feelings bout the cowboys, I hurt for them man.
BIG SIGH, this year is going to fucking kill me. Did anybody but me watch the game? Tell me how you hold Favre to 118 yards, Peterson to 70 yards rushing and Moss to 54 yards receiving and you still LOSE THE FUCKING GAME. It just blows my fucking mind. All new coaching staff only way, clean slate start over. And that means anybody else on the team also QB, RB, WR, defense. Period.

^Attention to small details & leadership. They lack in both categories. Ex. As soon as Hurd threw the “Hook-em” Brooking, Romo, Spears, Should of hooked that face mask & tore him a new ass. That shit is uncalled for.

Commit 11 penalties and lose the TO battle. Recipe for failure, and the reason Wade Phillips should not be coaching this team today. JJ needs to can his ass to send a message.

Thats one of the problems, not even team mates are keeping each other in line. I was joking with a friend of mine that we could be the first team to lead the league in offense and get the first pick in the draft.

I think the writing is on the wall for Wade, he will now be a lame duck coach. If JJ even has a thought in his head for getting Cowher how he handles this situation is critical. If he cans Wade now Cowher would not even think about it. But if he lets Wade finish the season and keeps his mouth shut and just fires him on Black Monday we may have a chance to land Cowher.

Watching that deplorable Monday night game yesterday I watched Chris Johnson closely, it was the third time I saw him this year. Im not saying hes not a great back but when I see Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore even LT they seem to run so much harder with so much more aggression than johnson. Maybe its his upright style, but hes dancing before hitting the line this year and is all together very unimpressive.

They are all different backs with different builds than Johnson. He’s waiting for a seam to hit the homerun. It would be frustrating to be a Titans fan to keep waiting for that big one. If he doesn’t hit it he’s not very impressive to watch.

I hate to say it, but I would rather watch guys like Arian Foster run the ball. I have watched all their games this year. He has the home run ability but will do the tough 5-6 yard runs.

Tebow in for his first NFL TD. Sucks because Orton is my Fantasy QB. Timothy, your time will come, but please wait till after this fantasy season or at least till I can make a trade.

V

Im becoming a big fan of Foster’s, didn’t know much about him before the season but I picked him up in fantasy so I have been learning.

The Cowboys need someone’s balls to drop and step the fuck up and lead the damn team.

You are a lucky MFer to have AF on your squad. He went in the 3rd round in my league.

Sorry DJHT but watching “America’s Team” literally crumble apart has been my favorite part of the season. Add in the fact that the Skins are playing better than I was expecting (or anyone was expecting) and this has been a good NFL season.

I’m still thrown off by just how many injuries are being accumulated all over the NFL this year though. I feel like this is some sort of record…

Hey man no worries, you are a rival team. I would expect no less. I have never had a problem with real fandom. I get pissed at fair weather fans who talk shit. Just think how your team is going to be with a few years of good drafts.

I definitely think he got a little over-rated/over-hyped after last season. He has insane athletic abilities, but I don’t see him as a top back like Peterson, Gore, or Mendenhall (among others).

The majority of his runs go for nothing, and with his style, I think injuries are definitely going to be something of concern.

Chris Johnson reminds me of Willie Parker. He was great at the start of his career, he hit the hole pretty hard but after he hurt his knee he started to dance a little too much. We’ll see how CJ is after coming back from an injury, it’s gonna happen sooner than later.

They had him miked up in week one and fuck that guy is tough, can’t block for shit though, tough at that size.

^ Has anybody else caught the fact Johnson has a tweek? Dude snaps his head all the time like a crack addict or tweek of south park. I have seen him on the sidelines and I can just hear in my head some tourettes cuss words coming out.
