come on man…the jets dont have any more misfits on their team than any other team in the NFL…who is a misfit on the Jets, Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes? (and thats merely someones opinion) theres far more good guys than jerkoffs on the Jets
all i kno is the misfits are playing rather well together…

Bears or Skins would be my guess.
did anybody watch that vikes pats game>? did it not seem like moss could have caught that pass that he was interfered with for a td? i was watching and it looked like the ball drops just a few feet away, i had to rewind and watch again and the wtf’s ensued.

Yeah, they don’t seem to have any locker room problems at all…
I mean they might be holding on by a thread for all I know, but it certainly doesn’t seem like that is the case. Everyone seems to be on the same page and buying into Sexy Rexy’s vision.
They are a dangerous team, that only seems to lose when they beat themselves, which is pretty much all you can ask for at this point.
I mean those receivers catch a couple of those dropped passes, and the Green Bay game is a 14-9 victory.
BUT physical mistakes happen, and the Jets don’t seem to be making many mental mistakes, from the little I’ve seen of them play.

I had not thought about the Skins and Bears, maybe. Heard no way the Rams GM will sign him.
On the Skins, hey Cool what up with McNabb? Shanahan saying he is slow, out of shape and stupid to run the 2 in O?

If this is correct then Belicheck is confirmed for evil genius.
If the Pats sign him and there is no league investigation into the matter then something is wrong.

No way the Pats sign him, he was shipped for 2 reasons.

I’m pretty sure they won’t pick him up, even for the league minimum. LOL
They are trying to move back towards a particular ‘feel’ in the locker room, and he just doesn’t fit it. The guy is the ultimate distraction outside of I-ME-MY Farve at this point. With 3 wins without him, no need to bring him back.
And to add to D’s post:
As far as league investigation, I’m sure they would do it, but I think the release is Chilly’s way of saying “for the love of Christ FIRE me.”
^ The guy guit on the play again, when he got the interference which resulted in no points. Then he opens his fucking mouth after the game sucking on the Pats balls, if I was his coach I would have fired his ass also.
The Pat’s won’t sing him back, though it would be great b/c I was pissed got rid of him in the first place.
But there are way too many times that have the option before the Pat’s do, and it starts with Buffalo.

I think all the cellar-dwellers will stear clear, or at least they should. He’s not the guy that’s going to rally a moribund franchise.
a lot of the GM’s are already stating they don’t want him… (stl being the latest) interestingly enuff the dolphins have stated they are interested and jeff ireland (mia gm) has been in contact with moss’ agent… hmmmmm

I don’t know why they would fuck with a good thing they have in the making like that.
But, there is a reason I’m a CPA and they are GM’s.
Also, Steele, I want to go on record as NOT making any childish jokes in your alcohol thread as not to ruin it. I really really want to, but will refrain.

Bonus points for use of the word moribund.
Jets/Moss would be interesting.
Thoughts:
It possible they’d pick him up just to keep other teams from having him–although he’s not playing well enough to be a super-threat and I doubt any championship contenders would take him.
Still, if any coach can inspire this guy back to greatness, it’s Rex, and Moss DOES want a ring, bad–Jets give him that chance.
On the other hand, if this guy wasn’t playing his heart out for Bill and Tom in NE, hard to say that he’d be willing to play hard for anyone.
Sanchez isn’t at the point where he’d get the ball that far down field with any level of consistency anyway.
Overall, seems unlikely.
Denied.

Honestly that is the only context I’ve ever heard that word used in. It was now or never.
Uh oh Jamarcuss Russell is working out for the skins, now they may have two out of shape qbs, and Moss back to Oakland WTF?
Chargers release Merriman. About 2 years too late if you ask me. He was never the same after the steroid thing
MattyXL wrote:

The Dolphins are giving him a real hard look also.
The NFL is nuts this year, and I’m enjoying it. Favre wishes he never came back, Moss wishes he was still in NE, and Shannahan wishes he knew what the hell was going on.
Awesome.
