Newbie in Need of Help

Hello T-Nation, I’ve been a fan of this site for a little over a year and finally decided to become a part of the community, I’m 25 yrs relatively good shape 187, 6’, I’ve been working out on and off for about 7 yrs, have gotten hurt twice (right shoulder) and was in a car accident which left me with lower back pain and therapy for about 3 yrs. I’m back in the gym with a new attitude and have seen some gains, but not as much as I want. I know that most of it is based on the proper nutrition.

I started that about 6 weeks ago, my gains have been extremely slow but steady , I have a meal schedule that consists of
7:30 8 egg whites+spinach, half a cup of oatmeal
9:30 PB sandwich with wall nuts (lots of PB)
11:30 8oz of chicken with broccoly
1:30 8oz of steak, mixed vegetables and rice
4:30 60 gram protein shake pre workout
6:00 60 gram protein shake after workout
9:00 8oz chicken breast with lettuce
11:30 tuna can
My apetite sucks, I have to force the food down, need help with that as well :slight_smile:

I go to the gym 4 days a week and will change my current schedule this week

the only supplements I’m taking are :flax seed oil pills 2x a day, multivitamin, bca x8 pre work out and L glutamin.

My experience with juice has been extremely limited because of suppliers, in 2001 I ran a miny cycle for 3 weeks, dbol and sustanon, did’nt like it, negative side effects were crazy, pimples everywhere specially back and shoulders, itchy nipples and increased agresiveness, plus I felt like i was geting bald, good side effects: increased strength but i saw almost no gains in weight, My guess is bad nutrition).

I did an Hdrol cycle in october of 2007 for 1 month and took the required 90 days off, really liked it, saw massive gains in strength and mass, I used to be 170, and am at 185 lost alot of body fat and gained lean muscle. however my pct was non existent…bad idea I lost alot of muscle mass and strength, plus I went home during the Dec break (Grad Student here), had a horrible diet (Hispanics love that pernil :slight_smile: ) and now im back in this as serious as ever. I’ve been doing research and decided to stack M drol and P plex, same company that makes H drol and need help with a PCT program.

I know these compunds are extremely toxic to the liver, so I will need some type of liver care, an anti estrogen and a testosterone booster, but I dont know where to begin. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will upload pictures of my current physique, I want to gain about 30 lbs, my max bench is 225x6,

how about the max squat/dl/C&J,snatch?

My legs are pretty weak, lets just say i was all about upper body before and have been kinda scared because of my previous lower back problems so i just started working those out, id say about 175 give or take, dl is 225, what’s C&J and snatch?

Start working on your lower back and legs.

Every 2 days do one from each list.
A Back Squat, Front Squat, Lunge
B Goodmornings, Romanian Deadlifts, Deadlift
C a push
D a pull
E Glute Ham Raise, Back Entention, Reverse back extention
F Situps, Leg raises
G Russian Twists, Wood chops, Wall Slams

Use moderately heavy weights with low reps. Do not go to failure.

Thanks stuward, ill go do some research on these exercises since i dont even know how most look like

BTW, started that cycle, just M drol for the 1st week, weights felt a lil lighter, maybe its just psycologic since it would be too soon too feel the side effects :slight_smile:

How can you know more about steroids than actual lifts?

I don’t think you are anywhere near the point to be using steroids. It seems to me you need to do a lot more research into the basics about weightlifting and nutrition. I think if you got some more knowledge you would experience better gains than you had before.

I’m against juicing because it goes against the grain but anyways, I don’t see good reason for why you need to juice at all. If you aren’t making gains with that type of nutrition then I’d say your workout ethic itself is in need of review. Juice isn’t going to resolve that. Nor do I see a viable reason for you to need to. Then again I blanche at the idea and am against it.

I know i know, which is why im on the right diet now and didnt gain jack before. if i know a lil about “the stuff” its just from research (so i guess i know nada), btw ironwarrior im not using “the stuff” tried it and didnt like it, just what i listed on top. Remember, alot of this is also based on genetics, my workouts consist of going 4 times a week, basic stuff, maybe im just bitching too much too soon, ill post some now pics and later some later pics, see how its working, hmm by the way i started this post to see if i can get help in designing a pct :stuck_out_tongue:
