Dude,

Your avatar shows you as very lean, and you started a thread wanting to know what to do to even get more lean.

Since this is a Body BUILDING web-site, it’s only natural that you’re going to get some adverse responses. It’s the law of the land.

This thread you just started, well, I can only assume that you’re going to get ridiculed even further for this one, so stand by…

B.

Yeah dont worry, My first few weeks were bad also, T-Men arent very nice and they will treat you like shit…most of them anyways not all are mean.

You raise a good point, I’ve noticed a disturbing amout of negative responses.

The thing is, of all the poster on this board…only about two dozen have any buisness being harsh or blunt with newbies.

i want to discuss this more but I have a bnelly full of Jack daniels.

AlohA bitches.

Respect is given to those who do their own research prior to asking questions like yours. The idea is that those who are serious about their powerlifting/bodybuilding/mma (what have you) would spend time researching first. While this may or may not always be true, it is the general belief.

There are numerous experts that frequently write articles for this website, experts which know more than most of the readers of this website. A simple search would have provided you the answer to your question.

However what you’ve gained now is more valuable than any article you could have found, you now have motivation. You have been “hacked to peices”, and now can prove yourself. Post again in a year after you’ve done your research, implemented a program, tweaked your nutrition, and made some serious gains.

You need to re-read the answers to your first post -

Learn how to put a sentence together so we can understand “WTF” you’re talking about… “maybe a week the or two the most” & “simce im so new”.

Are you new to this site or new to this language?

Finally, before you post a question hoping to get an answer from the 55% that aren’t assholes (?), try using the search function… or should it be searmch function?
Guess which percentile I’m in!

Because 90% of what we all need to know and do is in the ARTICLES. Read up first, then ask intelligent questions.

Don’t be afraid of the “search” button either.

Oh, and a decent grasp of the english language is helpful, too.

Yes, some guys on here really need to work on their sensitivity.

I’d recommend a few heavy sets of Kumbaya on ME day and following that up with some Soy-Mocca-Latte-Frappucinos for accessory work. The more advanced guys will want to use bands and chains, or maybe pink ribbons if they are really hardcore.

In case it’s your deloading week, just kiss a few puppies for high reps instead. Don’t go to failure. Finish with a Rosamunde Pilcher novel to prevent imbalances.

On a more serious note…

Actually, this has been discussed before:

Oh well, here we go again…

Excellent! at last some sensible advice.

Sixty-eight percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

I can’t believe you started your own little pity-party thread. Oh, poor newbie. I feel your pain. Monday morning when you show up at your junior high, kick your English teacher in the balls for me. Thanks.

I’m not going to bash your writing skills since English may or may not be your language. I think most of us knew what you meant. However, when you ask a dumb question, expect some harsh replies. It has happened to just about eveybody here. Expect the harsh replies to be compounded when you are a new member. It’s like being the new kid in class. We’re not just gonna give you the keys to the Honeycomb Hideout. You have to earn your way.

Oh, and it doesn’t help your credibilty any by whining about us being mean or having a chick come and stick up for you.

Nuh uh, it’s more like 77% …

…and ninety-five percent of those are underestimated.

Sometimes you have to be mean to be funny

No one cares if you are “new and all”… but most people care if you are “lazy”. As was already mentioned, try the “search” function at the top of your screen.

Check out the “beginners” forum, here are some links to speed you on your way…
