I would give enclomiphene a trial if you’re in the US. You need a doctor prescription and it can be compounded.
Also read this about PFS:
I’m a former finasteride user and on TRT thanks to it. PFS is nothing else than a lack of androgens. It does affect neurotransmitters unfortunately and no one knows to which extent the finasteride GABA inhibitory effects compromise the brain, but until further studies will be done, there’s no reason to doubt a full recovery from it.
I’ll answer again just to drive the point home… No. Just, no. By around day 7 you’re back to where you started and from there at best you stay at your original sucky level, or you go even lower than that because your natural production has stopped, so you go from super high T for a few days, good levels for a few days, back to baseline for a few days, then 5-7 days of being even lower than you are now (which obviously won’t be much fun). Then you start the whole cycle over again with the next injection. Unless you like yo yo’ing hormones, I wouldn’t go this route.
My opinion is 1 injection per week is the absolute minimum. I do 3x a week and try to get people to start with something similar to help keep things stable.
Thank you I read that…in super low in T…so TRT is the Optiob at this point…I’m also super depressed which is not helping I’m considering and anti depressant but man I don’t want too
Stay positive and everything will get fixed.
Testosterone is anti-depressant and should fix your issue, no need to touch SSRIs, unless you have suicidal thoughts.
What strength? They are probably 200mg/mL, but it could be 100mg/mL. Either way, definitely more than 100mg in that vial. Which is good, because a 10mL shot would suck. And it’s ALL depot testosterone. Probably they have Cypionate, which is the common testosterone ester on this forum.
Ok so can I just inject half the bottle and do the other half the next week?
Hope that’s not a stupid questions it sounds like it might be…
Like when the seal is broken at the top are you allowed to just leave it somewhere for a week?
Ummmm, no. Half the bottle would be 1000mg if it’s 200mg/mL. That would be a gram of test, which would be a pretty stout cycle dose. You wipe down the top with alcohol before you draw, every time you draw, and use a new syring every time. It’s a multi-use vial at that size.
relatively mild symptoms id almost say… your libido never tanked…your hormones never reached hypogonadal levels and you didn’t have to go on TRT…did you?
I did try clomid nine years ago…never felt great on it but did eventually get better with time and learned to live with low T. Now its time to fix these issues for good I am hoping…your baseline total T is similar to mine also…so I will be injecting weekly 100mg to start…
sounds like you are on TRT for life now also…ok thanks for the kind words…im just watching videos about how to draw up the meds, and how to inject them either into fat or into muscle…do people prefer one over the other and also do you tend to switch legs each time or not
Clomid is clomiphene citrate. I’m talking about enclomiphene, which is a single isomers without the estrogenic zuclomiphene, and it doesn’t shoot up E2 too high. It has an issue with low conversion to DHT from the studies I’ve seen, but it would worth a shot before committing to TRT for life.
The drug got stopped during trial 3 by the FDA, but there are compounding pharmacies that are doing it in the US. You need a US doctor prescription though.
I would start with a lower dose of TRT if you want to jump on it. Many experience a sure in anxiety when starting taking testosterone, so I would start with 70-80 mg per week, stay on it for 6 weeks and get labs done.
