Hey all, just a quick hello, I use to be a major power lifter/bodybuilder. Then Life happened, I’m 38 years old, and it starting to look like it. Trying to get back to the Gym and put the body back where it should be. Found this site. Wow some great info. Thanks everyone who is responsible. Looking foreword to showing some before and after photos.
I am a 31 year old former college football player. Right now I am about 290 give or take a few and stand 6’5’'. I love going to the gym when given the time. the past year I started back up form about a 5 yr layoff. I ahd to stop going becasue we started working 6 12 hr days a week. i need to get back into it BAD!!! Hopefully this site will help with my motivation. I see a lot of good topics and articles. I am up for any advice or tips. Thanks
Ok, I’m another lurker coming in from the cold. Been hanging around the Nation since about August last year, taking tips on diet when I found them.
So far, at 6’5 I’ve managed to come down from 254 lbs at 27% BF to my current (but by no means target) weight of 223.5 at 18%.
I wish to God advice like the stuff on this site had been around for me twenty to thirty years ago - I could have taken advantage of all the free testosterone swilling around in my teenage body. Still, I’m here now, and the future’s looking good.
Hey guys, I’m new here. Glad to have found this site. My biggest problem is my diet, I just want to eat everything in sight and it’s put a considerable amount of fat on me.
I just can’t seem to stay away from Sesame and Orange chicken and crave it just like I do now.
So I’m hoping to clean up my diet like I used to have it and gain some inside tips here.
I’ve been looking around here for a while and figured this site would help motivate, educate, and create a new me. I’m 19 y/o and am about to enter my first year of college athletics. My overall goal is to use the knowledge [I hopefully gain] towards being the best athlete I can be.
I’m very open to any kind of criticism/opinion…cheers
Hey everyone, I just joined, lurked for a short time to make sure I was not wasting my (and your) time here but I’m not. I see good info on every page and there seems to be a rather good mix of beginners and old timers so the people (I hope) are just a good.
My stats…
South East Wisconsin
43yrs
160lbs
5ft 8in
I started lifting (10yrs ago?) after my right shoulder surgery and never stopped (even after the left had to be done also). I lift and diet for health, not looking to get huge (big is OK but mostly just to be fit. I still have a bit of a beer belly (I am from Wisconsin after all:) but hope to lose that as well.
hello everyone on T-Nation i found this site while trying to find some help on my bodybuilding through google. i absolutely loved what i saw in the archives and decided what the hell why not get an account. and ive been happy ever since. lol i’ve kinda been a dumb ass lately though and have been asking really dumb questions when the archives have my answers. im just one 17 year old trying to get built/ stronger so i can finally feel confident about myself an honestly i wanna be feared by kids in my school.
I’ve ben looked at so long by other kids in my school as one of the kids that could be pushed around easily or couldnt be able to fight at all. it really pisses me off and i wanna be able to grab someone and let them know i m ean bus. thanks for hearing my story. figured everyone else was sharing so why not.
I have been reading on this site for about 4 months now and finally decided to join. This site is a great resource for everyone from their first workout to competition level BB’ers. As for myself, I am a former athelete that once out of sports, married life, and career took its toll, along with becoming overall lazy, have become a fat blob. Looking to correct that with help from the knowledge of the people of this site.
Hey everyone! So heres the thing. I am 19 Im 170 pounds been working out on and off for bout 2 years now. Have done the creatine supplements. I want to try Dbol. What i need to know is what should i be looking at with it? I am a major health freak. i dont eat junk food and i drink alot of water. I have done alot of research on dbol and the side affects. The backpumps sound like a pain in the ass. how can i lower then down or even avoid them completely. What is the dose for a first time use of Dbol? Thank you
Just decided to join. I’m thinking about going with P90x and heard this site was great at getting information on supplements, workout routines, etc. Thanks
