New Routine Help

hey guys just had to ask for your opinions…i just finished a 5x5 routine and now i want to start gaining on mass…my goal is to gain mass and lose body fat…

I just came up with a new routine that suits me the best because i am busy with school and work… and it looks like this:
Monday- Rest

Tuesday- Legs + Forearms + Abs

Wednesday- Shoulders + Biceps + 20 min cardio (intervals) right after weightraining

Thursday- Back + Abs + + 20 min cardio (intervals) right after weightraining

Friday- Chest + Triceps + Forearms

Saturday- Rest

Sunday - Abs (Might do a normal 30 min jog with a thermal suit, depending on amount of homework)

Planning to do this till May and than just focus on cutting and core till August…and go back to training for mass

I was also planning to have a homemade weight gainer(Everyday)…so far i have
-8-10 oz of milk
-1 scoop of Optimum 100% Whey Protein
-1 bananna
-2 teaspoons of peanut butter

And after my workout
-8-10oz of milk
-1 scoop of Optimum 100% Whey Protein

  • Apple

I was wondering what do you guys think of my Plan/Routine…and if you guys have anything else that i can add to my homemade weightgainer

Thanks

I wasn’t sure if this was a joke or not but it’s hilarious.

I think there’s a training program or two somewhere in there.

-Biceps the day before back. brutal and dont say something like “biceps are my weak point”

-Consider something like this

monday off
tuesday quads/hams/calves
wednesday chest/back
thursday off
friday biceps/triceps/forearms
Saturday off
Sunday shoulders/external rotators

-drop the cardio, its counterproductive to be attempting to burn calories while your trying to gain weight. If you still want or are required to keep in cardiovascular condition then stick to 1-2 sessions a week of interval cardio and dont place it near your leg day

-Do front squats and snatch deads off a podium instead of directly working your abs that much. If you still feel a massive need to do a ton of abs then throw the following triset after two of the days

A1 Roman chair sit-up-2x6-8 303
A2 Incline russian twist-2x8-12 202
A3 Garhammer(inclined leg raises)-2x8-12 301

-wanna gain weight? eat sphagetti and ground beef 4 times a day and have a postworkout shake, if that deosnt make you grow, then eat it 5 times a day…get the drift? gaining weight isnt as hard as people think, just most skinny guys are afraid of adding fat…even though ive never seen that happen even with a diet like stated above

Drop the cardio if your looking to gain weight. If you are really looking to gain mass you may want to consider devising a routine that hits each body part at least twice per week. One work out per body part every 7 days is not enough stimulation.
Doesn’t that Optimum Whey give you like hellascious gas? If it does consider a better whey. And don’t for get the creatine
