man it was great I dead lifts this morning so this afternoon I went back to the gym for presses I missed them this week because of work stuff. I didn’t do to much acc. work because I new I was going back. My PR was 170 for 2 and that was on a joker set I know you only do one rep at a time on jokers but the 170 felt so good I did 2 but then when I got to the next set 180 I couldn’t get it up to my shoulders lol.
My goal is to press my body weight for reps (225#s) I know its a big goal cause I have bigger guys than me in the gym that cant do it. I don’t do bounce presses or anything just muscle it up Just wanted to think Jim for this program I am on week 6 of my first cycle and at 38 am way stronger than I was when I was 24 when I thought I was strong. Its kinda cool that I am pretty much the only guy in the gym doing standing presses most do seated smith machine and seated DB presses
