I can be the same way. Just have to go in the gym and hit certain weights close to a meet to know I can do it. A huge part of this game is mental.

Squats are done
308 fail nerves, 308 good, 353 good I’m in the meet and 1000 is still obtainable but 1100 is gone

Bench 100 good, 112.5 good, 120 fail. I had planned a 117.5 third attempt but said screw it and went for a p/r and failed. Still on track for the 1000 which is what we came for but decided to not play it safe today.

Deadlift 353 yes, 419 yes, 457 no. goal achieved and reached for the star
