Squat depth looks good.

Maybe pull back a little more on DL’s.

If you are anything like me the pause on the bench will be the biggest adjustment you have to make. It always seems longer than you think it should be. Train the hell out of it.

What weight class are you lifting in?

Ill be lifting in the 220 weight class I am holding steady at 216 right now but may be close when the meet comes.

thanks

have not been feeling well since thursday last week and tried training through it… well it aint working on gym today maybe tommorrow

so my day got all screwed and I only had like an hour to lift so we just did squats. I had planned on just working up to 325 for a single with my light sleeves but curiosity got the best of me and I put my heavy elite sleeves on at 325 and then did 365 and then 380. Now I also switched to low bar squats and really worked on getting my core tight and exploding out of the hole but I am sure that the sleeves account for the 35 lb p/r today

barx10,135x8. 185x5, 225x3, 275x3,295x1, 315x1 add heavy sleeves 365x1, 380x1

365x1

380x1

nice work

Kinda cool that the whole family gets into this with you.

Dead lift
135x3,225x3,275x3,315x1,365x1, 405x1, 425x1, 450x1

dead video

Welcome to the world that so many of us inhabit.

at the end of the day its all about the total though right…

Yep, bench gains are nice but I’d rather have my Squats and DL’s go up 10% than my bench.

right now my squats and deads are moving hopefully they stay that way but I still want beach muscles and a big bench

Vacation starts tommorrow another week off . Hope to do some hikeing and
Maybe some body weight stuff but mostly I’m just going to be camping in the mountains

Nice pulling.

Camping sounds like lots of fun, enjoy the vacation.

I love the laugh at the end of your 435, Form looks good!

back from vacation very relaxing and I put on 2 pounds… lifting starts tommorrow… 4 weeks till the meet I cant wait.

Tick…Tick…

Well I think I have got my lift attempts figures out for the meet

Pounds. Kilos
Squat
308.5. 140
352.5. 160
385.7. 175

Bench
220. 100
248. 112.5
259. 117.5

Deadlift
352.5. 160
418.7. 190
451.7. 205

Used a chart and these are the numbers it gave me. all second attempts achieve my goal of a 1000 total after that I’m going for broke All third attempts are minor personal records. If things are going well I will add 5 pounds to my dead lift third attempt to try to break 1100.

So there it is in writing I have never maxed all lifts in the same day and have no idea how this meet will effect everything. hopefully I will follow Joes lead and do better at the meet than in the gym and make all my third attempts

squat
80% x3 255
85% x 3 270
90% x 3 or more 285x7 351.4335
90%x1 315 1

leg extensions 35x6, 40x6x6x6
Good mornings 4x6 165 x6x6x6x6
Reverse hyper’s 3x10 100 10,10,10
sprints 4 straights 50 yards

first day of 5/3/1 for power lifting and so far I like. We cut wait time between sets to 1 min except for singles and can definitely tell that it is going to help my conditioning
