Surge is a 10 out of 10 for me. I haven’t taken much for intra workout nutrition or have in the past very sporadically and I’m definitely a believer in it. The pumps are great. Soreness is less than it’s ever. And the taste is absolutely fantastic.

I just don’t lose steam. Strength stays consistent. Pump is full. Vascularity is increasing each time.
I really have no complaints with the product or the workout. I’m making gains at a very fast rate. That sort of thing can’t really be critiqued or complained about.
Dave are you tracking your food? I was really impressed with your gains so I’m just curious.
Dr Darden, I know the guidelines are 3500-4000 calories for food. Is there a specific macro breakdown you recommend? If I remember right you advocated a 50/25/25 split (carbs/protein/fat) but could be wrong.
Thank you very much, but No I don’t. I keep approximate track of my protein but otherwise I just eat when I’m hungry and try to make sure I’m eating enough to always feel adequately recovered.

Quite amazing really! How is the challenge going for you?
It’s going pretty well. I like the 3 day a week schedule and the pace of the workouts. Surge definitely works. I have had more vascularity and generally fuller muscles for weeks now (my arms are filling out all my XXL t-shirts).
Haven’t weighed myself yet so I don’t know how thats going, but I haven’t gained anything on my waist. So fat in the wrong places seems to be keeping constant.

I will absolutely follow the Surge training program until the end. I do, however, have a four-day vacation schedule in August, roughly two weeks from now. There won’t be any serious training while away.
Should I continue with the once-daily serving of Surge in 1.8L of water on vacation?
I’d say you probably could use a four-day break. Get back on your regular schedule when you return from your vacation.
