you should get a punching bag…great warm up, also you wanna be quick on your feet and hands.
Nice work build it and they will come PR’s that is.
no glute ham raise machine?. you should get on that.
Would you afford it for me? I’M a broke ass student
Looks sweet man, tear it up.
Nice. Had a similar set-up in the last house I lived in with my college buddies. The only thing extra we had was a scary ass plate loaded cable machine. The only that sucked, and it looks like you’ll have the same problem, is that standing OHP is essentially impossible because it hits the ceiling (unless you are short as hell).
Also when the heat was on you had to wrap the water pipe that also served as a chin bar with a towell or you’d burn your hands.

Yeah I feel you on that. There was a guy on this site that made his own from scratch. It was pretty impressive.
I like your gym. I like the wires showing out of all the walls gives it a real hardcore look.
I can do overhead press since i’m only 5 feet 8 iches and the roof is toping at 9 feet and a half. I live in the North so not much heat .

I’d trade the heat for the cold anytime for training purposes. The heat has been horrible all summer (and still is). It drains the hell out of your strength and energy. I can only imagine how much better I’ll feel when the weather is much, much cooler.
That dry-erase board is a great idea. I never would’ve thought about putting one of those in a home gym before, but I can definitely see how it would be useful.
I’m lovin that workout cave! You’ve got all ya need. My only input would be to not store those valuable oly bars on end. It’s not good for 'em. Store 'em horizontally on your rack or the floor. Come on ya got to treat 'em with lov n care! Then they’ll love ya back…long time.
Thanks for the tip, i will put the bar on the hooks
