Feeling like I’m in a good groove right now. Not setting any PRs but I’m training hard and having fun. If I keep up the GPP maybe I’ll see an ab or two at some point.

The third time through really sucked ass. This had better be getting me in better shape.
I eventually really have to start doing the GPP work, I dont have any excuses while I dont have all of the equipment there is NO reason not to make do with what I have, after my next meet it has to become a necessity…really awesome stuff as usual.

Tied a good one on last night and my numbers today reflected it.
Every time I read your log I feel like a conditioning pussy, especially with the big numbers you move. You really ought to try those highland games, I bet you would kill it. Great work.

DJ,I’m not sure what the difference is btw a full or power clean. I’m not flexible enough to drop down and catch the weight. I do more of a glorified upright row. I just get the weight from the floor to overhead as quickly as possible.
Yep 10 sets x 5 reps. The front squats were light enough that I did two sets per song.

Added weight every other trip. First several trips were sprints the last few were grinds. Stone carries tomorrow night.

I’ve gotten stronger getting stones from my lap to shoulder height. I can get my 230 lb stone to my shoulder every time now.

13 sled sprints and drags x 25-30 yards
trips 1,2,3 no weight (tire sled weighs 100 lbs)- warm up jogs
4,5 + 1 cement block - sprint
6,7 + 2 cement blocks - sprint
8,9 + 3 cement blocks - slow drag
10,11,12,13 + 1 cement block - sprint
I was dead after this workout. I actually think my conditioning has improved over last couple weeks. This GPP stuff may be working.

I’m trying to get to a BW clean and press then I see a N.Korean clean and jerks 3xBW. And the female lifters are eclipsing my numbers. Makes me feel like a little sissy.

That would be a power clean, and I mix it up on those myself.
Lol glad to here I am not the only one who uses songs as the tempo.
