12 x 25 yards sled sprints

Pulled my left calf on my 12th sprint. Never done that before but it doesn’t feel good. Limping around now.

Time to get in to the BB’ing mode and get out the banana hammock
See what I can do DJ. I feel good about the conditioning work I’ve been doing. Now I have to somehow get a better handle on the food intake.
Constant battle for sure.

My problem is I like beer, rum and Crown. Then I like to eat chips and burgers after having a few of those.
Mmmmm…booze, chips and burgers. We have all the same issues I see.
I work out hard to feed my alcohol addiction.

I’ve been feeding my alcohol addiction to often lately. Jim Beam is my favorite.

I was supposed to sprint today but my left calf is still hurting. A bit frustrating because I was getting into a groove then this has to slow me down. Deadlifts and stone lifting tomorrow.

1.clean and press 135x2,155x2,175x2,195x2,225x0,1,1,1,1

2b.semi-sumo deads 225x2,315x2,405x2,455x2,495x2

Calf felt good today. Just a little sore now. I double over hand gripped 405x2. Not impressive but I was happy with it. On vacation now. Time to light a cigar.

Have jim beam and diet coke to go with that stogie

nice work.

I just might do that ZC. Thanks.

1.clean+press 135x5x2, 185x5x2
2a.front squat 135x5x2
2b.db swings 80x5x10

Felt good today. Wanted to get a light workout in.

Made a prowler today. 6x6s,1.5 inch pipes,2 floor flanges,2x4’s for runners and a couple 90 degree pipe elbows. Works pretty well. Calf is 100% today. But it weighs over 100 lbs without weight added.

That is one badass prowler Steve at 100lbs beofre the weights are added.

7/1
15 total sled pushes/sprints, 7x30 yards, 8x20 yards

I split this into 2 workouts. 7 pushes before dinner, 8 after. My wife, kids and in-laws were watching from the deck and were nervous I was going to drop dead. Mother-in-laws comment was,‘Why do you have to workout like that?’.

Hehe, not many people get the prowler. The general reaction is WTF? If you get that reaction, you are doing it the right way for sure. Great work.

Thanks Joe. This thing is a bitch to push even without weight. I was going to push it again today but after a 3 mile walk and playing in the pool I just want to sit here and watch TV.

Thanks Jack. Your thread is one of those that inspires me to hit it hard. I’m sure you get those looks of ‘what the f*&# is that guy doing!?’ all the time.

I want a prowler. That is pretty cool.

Nice work Steve. Always finding new ways to torture yourself…lol.

Has it cooled down any?

I’m liking my construction so far. Hoping to push it tomorrow before the drinking starts.
